Following the Big Ten Conference releasing the men's basketball conference schedule, the Indiana Hoosiers released their full non-conference slate as well. There are definitely some marquee games on the schedule and once the conference season starts, every game is of top importance.

The Hoosiers come into the season as a top 15 team and they will put that on the line as they have some great matchups in the non conference slate.

The first game of the season is on November 13 at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana as they take on the Eastern Illinois Panthers. They will then take on Austin Peay followed by Creighton in the week that leads up to their trip to Maui for the Maui Invitational.

While in Maui, the Hoosiers start out the tournament against Wake Forest and then go on to play the winner or loser, depending on the outcome, of the St. John's/Vanderbilt matchup. If they can make it to the championship, Indiana could end up facing Kansas or UCLA.

Following the Maui trip, they return home for Alcorn State on November 30 before heading to Cameron Indoor Stadium on December 2 to face the defending National Champion Duke Blue Devils as apart of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. This will be the first time since 2006-07 when the Blue Devils took that matchup 54-51.

After Duke, Tom Crean's squad returns home to play Morehead State, IPFW, and McNeese State all within a span of seven days. Then a week later, Indiana faces Notre Dame at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis for the Crossroads Classic that pits the four big Indiana basketball programs; Purdue and Butler being the other two.

The final tuneup before Big Ten play will come on December 22 against Kennesaw State at Assembly Hall.

The Big Ten slate gets going with two road games. The first comes on December 30 at Rutgers which is then followed on January 2 at Nebraska. These are two games Indiana needs to take advantage of against two of the weaker teams in the conference, but they are on the road which will be a challenge.

The conference home slate kicks off on January 5 and 10 against Wisconsin and Ohio State respectively which will also be a tough challenge for this Hoosiers ball club.

To close out January, they travel to Minnesota on the 16th and Wisconsin on the 26th. The rest of the January home schedule sees them going up against Illinois on the 19th, Northwestern on the 23rd, and Minnesota on the 30th.

The month of February starts off with a bang as the Hoosiers head to Ann Arbor to face Michigan on the 2nd and Penn State on the 6th. The home games in the month are Iowa on the 11th, Nebraska on the 17th and a big rivalry game against Purdue on the 20th. The rest of the road schedule sees them heading to Michigan State on the 14th, Illinois on the 25th and Iowa on March 1.

The final regular season game is at Assembly Hall against the Maryland Terrapins, a matchup that could have major implications on the regular season Big Ten crown and/or the tournament.

The Big Ten is not an easy conference and will once again be a battle. Indiana is projected to be towards the top and should have a solid squad in 2015. Look for a more comprehensive preview as the season inches closer.
