A pair of Daxx Garman long passes led to Rolan's second one yard touchdown run of the game. Grogan hit a 20 yard field goal to make it 37-13 before Ashton Lampkin's 50 yard interception return for a touchdown made it 43-13 as time expired.

UTSA's Tucker Carter started the game going 7 of 15 for 51 yards, but an injury forced him out for the second half. Blake Bogenschutz stepped in and went 8 of 14 for 82 yards and an interception. He did have a touchdown via the ground.
