Florida State has decided to suspend quarterback Jameis Winston for the entire game on Saturday against Clemson. Winston was originally suspended for just the first half of the game versus Clemson.

Florida State released the following statement that discusses their reason for extending the suspension.

"Based upon the results of our continuing investigation of Tuesday's incident involving Jameis Winston, we have decided to not play him for the entire game against Clemson on Saturday night," interim Florida State president Garnett S. Stokes and athletic director Stan Wilcox said in a joint statement.

Winston was seen and heard shouting obscenities on Tuesday in Florida State's student union, which prompted him to be originally suspended for the first half against the Tigers.

This is the latest incident in a long line of issues with Winston. He was investigated for sexual assault in early 2013, but no charges were ever filed. Winston was also involved in an incident at a Burger King in July 2013 where he used ketchup cups to take soda from the soda fountain. In April of this year, Winston was cited for stealing crab legs from a local Publix store.

With Winston now out for the entire game, that leaves sophomore Sean Maguire to play all 60 minutes. In 2013, and thus far in 2014, Maguire has gone 16 of 26 for 144 yards with 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

Florida State will get a glimpse into the future without Winston with Maguire getting all the snaps behind center.
