7:30 PM EST - Without Winston, the Seminoles will be carried by Sean Maguire. The top running back on the team Karlos Williams will have to carry the load and score a few touchdowns for Florida State. This season Williams has 32 carries for 132 yards and one touchdown. Rashaad Greene has 15 catches for 283 yards, but only one touchdown.
7:24 PM EST - The Tigers are led by Cole Stoudt. He has passed for 446 yards, one touchdown and one interceptions. Also, Deshaun Watson, the freshman, has stepped up throwing 213 yards, along with four touchdowns and one interceptions. They run game has been horrible for the Tigers this season. Wayne Gallman and Adam Choice have shared the carries this season. They have only scored one touchdown between them both. Artavis Scott is the go-to guy for the Tigers. He has eight catches for 205 yards and two touchdowns.
7:15 PM EST - Fisher said he knew the type of team he had after the Clemson victory last year.
"It's always good to be able to see yourself when you play at a very high level mentally and physically and emotionally, what you're capable of," Fisher said. "It gives you supreme confidence because you knew the caliber of opponent and how good they were. If you can overcome that and focus and concentrate and do those kinds of things there, you're capable of doing them anywhere else in our schedule."
7:08 PM EST - This season, Florida State is 2-0, but have not been able to show that they are as commanding as they were last season. It is very hard to compare a team to last years Seminoles squad. No team has been that good in quite some time.
"It was definitely a turning point in a game that propelled us," Seminoles tackle Cam Erving said. "We knew we were good, but the thing about it was we had to go out and continue to do the little things we did to have success. That's what we want to do now. Take those same habits that we took from last year and just apply it to the game this year."
"We've tried to remind these guys that we did get embarrassed out here, make no mistake about it," Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris said. "Yes, we've definitely talked about it."
"Just from what they did to us last year, that was an embarrassment," Clemson safety Jayron Kearse said. "Just looking through media, that's all they talk about is how they beat us 51-14 and things like that. That's old, that's behind us. We're just ready to go out and show the world what we can do (on) Saturday."
6:52 PM EST - Last season, the Tigers were ranked No. 3 and the Seminoles were ranked No. 5 at the time. Florida State won that matchup 51-14. The Tigers were humiliated.
6:45 PM EST - Head coach Jimbo Fisher will be set to go with sophomore quarterback Sean Maguire. He has thrown 26 passes and has never been a high profile player. He played nine games in 116 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
6:35 PM EST - "Based upon the results of our continuing investigation of Tuesday's incident involving Jameis Winston, we have decided to not play him for the entire game against Clemson on Saturday night," interim Florida State president Garnett S. Stokes and athletic director Stan Wilcox said in a joint statement.
The Florida State Seminoles will be without their superstar quarterback Jameis Winston for the full game. Two days after announcing it would bench Winston for a half following the Winston's decision to shout a obscene comment at the student that may have derived from an internet meme, Florida State upped the punishment to a full game late Friday night.
