2nd Quarter, 1 minute left: Booker is dropped behind the line of scrimmage and will punt it back to USC.
2nd Quarter, 1 minute left: Utah forces USC into a quick 3 and out and the Utes will get the ball back with a minute left.
2nd Quarter, 1 minute left: Interesting play call right there as Utah barely gets the ball away.
2nd Quarter, 3 minutes left: Wilson finds Tonga again for a nice 17 yard gain. Beautiful run after the catch by the wide receiver.

2nd Quarter, 5 minutes left: JACKSON TOUCHDOWN OFF THE KICK RETURN!!!! Takes it deep in the endzone and breaks loose. 10-14 now to USC.
2nd Quarter, 5 minutes left: Phillips converts the 24 yard field goal and as Utah takes a three point lead.
2nd Quarter, 5 minutes left: POOLE FUMBLES THIS TIME!!! But recovers and it's now 3rd and goal.

2nd Quarter, 15 minutes left: 11th play of the drive is an Allen run that's stopped at the line of scrimmage.
The end of the first quarter comes to an end as the score is tied at 7 under the lights in Salt Lake City.
1st Quarter, 1 minute left: Kessler completes the long 3rd down try!
1st Quarter, 1 minute left: Smith with a nice run after the catch, but it's still 3rd an 9 wiith a false start penalty to make it 3rd and 14.
1st Quarter, 1 minute left: Kessler completes a 19 yard pass to JuJu Smith.
1st Quarter, 3 minutes left: Allen gets dropped behind the line of scrimmage and it's 3rd and 6 from the 5 yard line. Kessler converts the 3rd down to Rogers.
1st Quarter, 4 minutes left: This time Booker looses the ball this time right at the doorsep and USC recovers the ball!!! Wild game so far, folks.
1st Quarter, 5 minutes left: Booker looses the football but they are able to jump on it and still maintain possession.
1st Quarter, 6 minutes left: Utah playing with a bit of quickness about them, trying to catch USC offguard and moving the chains steadily.

1st Quarter, 11 minutes left: Max Browne is in for a little while to give Kessler time to gather himself. Browne's first pass is broken up by Rowe with a fine defensive play.

1st Quarter, 15 minutes left: It looked as if Kessler threw a backwards pass and the refs never blew the whistle as the Utes picked up the ball and ran into the endzone. But it's under review right now.

10:00 PM EST: Are you ready folks?! The Utes faithful sure are! This place is loud and amped up. Sit back, relax, and enjoy this PAC-12 matchup.
9:45 PM EST: As we grow ever near kickoff, the atmosphere is getting better and better with these two ranked teams going to go at it for 60 minutes. It's going to be a good one folks, and I'll be back for the coin toss! See you then.
9:35 PM EST: One more PAC-12 game has gone final as the Arizona Wildcats become bowl eligible with a 59-30 win over Washingtong State!
9:20 PM EST: Colorado took #25 UCLA to double OT, but the Bruins managed to hold on to win 40-37. In Palo Alto, Stanford steamrolled Oregon State as the Cardinal demolished the Beavers by a score of 38-14 and looked really good doing it too.
9:10 PM EST: We are less than an hour away from kickoff here in Salt Lake City! Tweet my your thoughts, questions, comments on either the game or my coverage @sennikoffk!
9:00 PM EST: The only other late game tonight sees the Arizona State Sun Devils travel to Washington to take on the Huskies. This game kicksoff 45 minutes after this one.
8:50 PM EST: In today's earlier games, Stanford completely dominated Oregon State in the first half as they dropped 28 points in two quarters to for the Beavers. And in Boulder, UCLA outlasted Colorado after jumping out to a quick 17-0 lead after 15 minutes of football.
8:40 PM EST: We all know how wild the west truly is as no lead is safe in this conference. Last night, Oregon put up 59 over Cal as they beat the Golden Bears by 18 points, although the home side looked as if they could have scored a few more touchdowns which would have made the game a whole lot closer than it really was in reality.
8:30 PM EST: On the other hand, USC need to win tonight just to have a fighting chance to make it into the PAC-12 Championship game. However unlikely that is, they still have a games against Washington State, CAL, UCLA, oh and some school called Notre Dame in the final game of the regular season.
8:20 PM EST: Tonight's game is a blackout in Salt Lake City and look for the Utah faithful to be extra pumped in for this game as a win could go a long way in deciding the PAC-12 South. This has by been Utah's best season in this conference by a country-mile, but this season is far from over. After tonight, they still have to play Arizona State, Oregon, Stanford, Arizona, and they finish off the season against Colorado.
8:10 PM EST: Rice-Eccles Stadium first opened its doors in 1998 and has a capacity of just over 45,000. It has a pitcuresque backdrop and here is what it looks like:
8:00 PM EST: Today's matchup will certainly be interesting. Utah's defense is incredibly strong in stopping both the run and containing the quarterback. Can Utah do the unthinkable again and come out on top? Or will USC's offensive ability out-perform the opposition in Salt Lake City? These will be just some of the questions that will be answered throughout the course of tonight's game.
7:50 PM EST: Last season USC dominated Utah in Los Angeles as Nelson Agholor scored the games only touchdown as Andrei Heidari kicked four field goals in the Trojans' 19-3 victory over the Utes. Cody Kessler threw 230 yards and oen touchdown as they won their second game under the interim head coach Ed Orgeron.
7:40 PM EST: Utes defensive end Moana Ofahengaue plead guilty on Friday morning in the Salt Lake City Justice Court for an incident back in February when he was driving impaired and crashed his motorcycle. He suffered a serious head injury as a result of the crash. He will be a big miss for the Utes as he is one of the team's capitans and a big threat in stopping both the run and for putting pressure on the quarterback. The backup will have to big shoes to fill if they want to cause Kessler any sort of problems.
7:30 PM EST: "Cody Kessler is playing very well. Coming off a great performance against Colorado. We've got our work cut out for us. He's a lot like Connor Halliday that he's a pocket passer, and Sean Mannion, who we just faced. Not real eager to run the ball - not to say that he's not a good athlete, because he is, but he makes a living in the pocket. He's done a nice job of that this year," said Utah's Kyle Whittingham on the Trojan's quarterback.
7:20 PM EST: Utah has had quite the start to their season so far. Their first significant win of the season came in a heavy win over of the Michigan Wolverines at The Big House, by a score of 26-10. The Utes defensive is one of the best in the entire conference as they only allow 21.7 points per game, which is good enough for 33rd in the country. After a disappointing loss to Washington State, they bounced back excellently with a win over then #8 UCLA at the Rose Bowl, before defeating Oregon State in a double overtime thriller,
7:10 PM EST: The Trojans this week go into tonight looking for their third straight win after destroying the Colorado Buffalos 56-28 behind an impressie performance from Cody Kessler as he threw for 319 yards and 7 touchdowns. Against then ranked #10 Arizona Wildcats, it was the Javorius "Buck" Allen's three td's and 205 rushing yards that led to the 28-26 victory.
