FINAL: 34-10 West Virginia . Thanks for following me today! This has been Ben Anderson, now signing off.

4th Quarter, 30 Seconds Left: West Virginia now prepares for a big showdown with TCU, in a battle between two great offenses. OKST must do a 180' and try to compete against Kansas State.

4th Quarter, 2 Minutes Left: We can't forget the youth of Oklahoma State. They are a gritty team, but are just not going to compete for the Big 12 this year.

4th Quarter, 2 Minutes Left: Interesting story: Both West Virginia teams, the Mountaineers and the Marshall Thudnering Herd, are ranked. They both struggled early today. However, now both games are blowouts. All is right in the hills of Appalachia.

4th Quarter, 3 Minutes Left: ANOTHER ONE! TOUCHDOWWWWWWWWWN WEST VIRGINIA, DREAMIUS SMITH!

4th Quarter, 3 Minutes Left: What a game. West Virginia has done everything they could to lose this game, but look at where they are.

4th Quarter, 4 Minutes Left: touchDOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWN WEST VIRGINIA!!!!! PICK SIX!!!!!!

4th Quarter, 4 Minutes Left. Oh goodness, two missed throws in a row by Garman. And then a PICK!!!!!!!! PICK SIX!

4th Quarter, 5 Minutes Left: Intriguing. Was thought as a potential strip from Glidden, but was ruled as a simultaneous catch. Still OKST ball, 1st and 10. 2 possession game.

4th Quarter, 5 Minutes Left: Garman runs 9 yards, 3rd and 1 OKST. On 3rd down, a simultaneous catch?

4th Quarter, 5 Minutes Left: There's your stop. A poor play call by West Virginia, they have had odd plays all day. They've obviously been hindered by the shutting down of Kevin White. OKST ball now.

4th Quarter, 6 Minutes Left: Trickett runs for a first down. OKST defense looks tired, and understandable so. WVU has ran near 50 plays this half.

4th Quarter, 7 Minutes Left: Down two possessions, Oklahoma State needs some stops and some scores. A turnover would be very helpful in this position.

4th Quarter, 7 Minutes Left: OKST gets away with one, as the play clock went out on 3rd down. On 4th down, Garman was pressured and threw inaccurately. WVU ball!

4th Quarter, 8 Minutes Left: Tyreek Hill stuffed by WVU. 3rd and 13 now. Stuck in a rut. Will be 4th down territory if this is missed.

4th Quarter, 9 Minutes Left: Pokes playing fast, have a little momentum. Maybe time for a Garman deep pass?

4th Quarter, 9 Minutes Left: Oklahoma State has not been impressive today in WVU territory. Need to find a way to convert some touchdowns late in the game.

4th Quarter, 10 Minutes Left: Easy peasy for Lambert. 20-10 Mountaineers.

4th Quarter, 10 Minutes Left: Incomplete, and Lambert will have to come out for the field goal.

4th Quarter, 10 Minutes Left: Clock being ate by West Virginia. Trickett throws to White, ALMOST a touchdown, but White mis-timed his jump.

4th Quarter, 11 Minutes Left: 1st down Mountaineers.

4th Quarter, 11 Minutes Left: Trickett to Alford again, short gain, now to field goal position. 3rd and 4.

4th Quarter, 13 Minutes Left: Penalty on Flowers, pass interference. WVU drive continues.

4th Quarter, 15 Minutes Left: OKST had to punt again, and this one ends up near midfield! WVU with good field position. Can they put this game away here?

4th Quarter, 15 Minutes Left: On the first play, Garman almost throws a pick. It's now 4th and 6, punt coming, deep from their own territory. Booming punt, WVU returner fumbled it and recovered. Joe DeForest's Special Teams corp not playing well for WVU.

End Of 3rd Quarter: It is shocking to see the WVU offense take this much of a swingaround after the dominating performance last week against Baylor. Trickett and OSU's Garman are about equal today. Trickett with 219 yards passing, Garman with 202.

End Of 3rd Quarter: OSU lets the clock run out, only down a touchdown going into the final quarter. Stay tuned to this intriguingly low scoring game right here on VAVEL USA!

3rd Quarter, 1 Minute Left: Poor decision by WVU, pitches it back to Alford. Now they have to punt. What a day for defense!

3rd Quarter, 1 Minute Left: A poor screen from Trickett to Smith. Smith barely grabbed it, and almost didn't get to the line of scrimmage.

3rd Quarter, 2 Minutes Left: Converted! Alford grabs it, great extension.

3rd Quarter, 3 Minutes Left: Now third down for the Mountaineers, 3rd and 8.

3rd Quarter, 3 Minutes Left: Quick updates: UCLA is heading to overtime in Colorado, while Kentucky is only down 7 against Mississippi State.

3rd Quarter, 4 Minutes Left: Trickett to Alford. Now near midfield.

3rd Quarter, 5 Minutes Left: Unbelievable!! Dreamius Smith goes 19 yards for the first down! They always have a trick up their sleeves, these Mountaineers.

3rd Quarter, 5 Minutes Left: Trickett with all day to throw, but couldn't get anyone. Should have thrown it away, but instead waited till the last minute, and is caught for intentional grounding. What a mess!

3rd Quarter, 6 Minutes Left: Smallwood cuts for a first down to get to the WVU 13.

3rd Quarter, 7 Minutes Left: Did anyone really think this would be a defensive battle? That's what this has become.

3rd Quarter, 7 Minutes Left: WVU starts at their own 1, fantastic job by the OSU punting corp.

3rd Quarter, 8 Minutes Left: Wow. Another punt coming right up. WVU read a Roland run all the way.

3rd Quarter, 8 Minutes Left: Cowboys now 3rd and 4.

3rd Quarter, 9 Minutes Left: OSU has a rhythm now. Chunk yardage.

3rd Quarter, 9 Minutes Left: Washington with a nifty move. The youngster doing well today, OKST driving.

3rd Quarter, 9 Minutes Left: West Virginia stuffed. The OKST D Line, led by James Castleman, gets the stop. Now a field goal made by Lambert. 17-10.

3rd Quarter, 11 Minutes Left: West Virginia into field goal territory after Dustin Garrison cuts to further this drive.

3rd Quarter, 12 Minutes Left: Not White, but Thompson! First down West Virginia, now to the OKST 40.

3rd Quarter, 13 Minutes Left: Now 3rd and 5. Will this be where White gets involved?

3rd Quarter, 14 Minutes Left: Kevin White has been quiet today. No receptions in the 2nd quarter, and WVU is stalling here.

3rd Quarter, 14 Minutes Left: Smallwood picks up where he left off, cuts way up the middle all the way to midfield!

3rd Quarter, 15 Minutes Left: And we're back! West Virginia starts with the ball.

Halftime: 3rd Quarter upcoming!

Halftime: Fantastic job by OKST by responding in the 2nd quarter. They slowed down the West Virginia offense, and plowed through the Mountaineer defense. Slow and steady wins the race? If WVU continues down this path, Oklahoma State will come back and win this. Head Coach Dana Holgerson is very upset with the ineptitude of his team. Mike Gundy has to be elated by his squad's toughness. Let's get some popcorn, and we'll be back shortly folks!

2nd Quarter, 10 Seconds Left: OKST punts to WVU, the young punt returner couldn't find the ball as the sun was in his eyes. This will take us to halftime.

2nd Quarter, 30 Seconds Left: It seems that both teams just want to get to halftime at this point.

2nd Quarter, 1 Minute Left: WVU very conservative right now. Wanting to get to halftime for some reason. Now it's 4th down, with OSU getting the ball back. Very poor 2nd half from West Virginia's offense.

2nd Quarter, 2 Minutes Left: Wendell Smallwood barrels through for a first down.

2nd Quarter, 2 Minutes Left: Now WVU ball. Trickett missed a pass to White.

2nd Quarter, 3 Minutes Left: Unbelievable! Grogan hit a 41 yarder earlier, but misses a 36 yarder here! Another failed opportunity.

2nd Quarter, 4 Minutes Left: Edward Moldrow II sacks Garman! OSU has to kick a field goal again.

2nd Quarter, 5 Minutes Left: 3rd and 8 for OK State!

2nd Quarter, 5 Minutes Left: Now Oklahoma State is without David Glidden. However, they are in the red zone. Will they be using Washington more now?

2nd Quarter, 5 Minutes Left: OKST offense faking people out. Throws to Glidden, but now Glidden, OSU's best WR, is out with a potential knee or ankle injury.

2nd Quarter, 6 Minutes Left: Garman with the rainbow to Robinson, for 40 yards!

2nd Quarter, 6 Minutes Left: Roughing the passer on WVU. Egregious by KJ Dillon. 1st Down OSU.

2nd Quarter, 7 Minutes Left: Tight coverage! WVU must punt. The question is, can the OKST offense stay consistent.

2nd Quarter, 7 Minutes Left: Shorts with a great reception, but then James Castleman sacks Trickett. Quinton Spain and the WVU O-Line needs to tighten up.

2nd Quarter, 8 Minutes Left: Oklahoma State is not relying on Daxx Garman right now. WVU's front 7 is letting them run all over them.

2nd Quarter, 8 Minutes Left: Great gameplan by the Pokes! Things are looking up now, as they're back in the ball game.

2nd Quarter, 8 Minutes Left: TouchDOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWN COWBOYS!!! TEDDY JOHNSON!!

2nd Quarter, 8 Minutes Left: Brandon Shepard, 52 yard run! WVU missing tackles.

2nd Quarter, 9 Minutes Left: Wow, a massive loss for West Virginia. Karl Joseph, best safety in the Big 12, injuried.

2nd Quarter, 10 Minutes Left: Tyreek Hill curves to the outside, gets 11 yards.

2nd Quarter, 10 Minutes Left: Time for Garman and the Pokes' offense to make a statement. If they can't open things up soon, they will continue to be stuck in the mud.

2nd Quarter, 10 Minutes Left: From 3rd and 14 to 4th and 3. WVU to punt. Seems that the offense is very conservative right now.

2nd Quarter, 10 Minutes Left: Trickett tries to unleash to White in double coverage, but the window was too small. 3rd down.

2nd Quarter, 11 Minutes Left: Another run, and Smallwood gets the first down! He's been getting chunk yardage today.

2nd Quarter, 12 Minutes Left: Trickett is just itching to unleash now, as it's 3rd and 6.

2nd Quarter, 13 Minutes Left: Trickett to Alford, a diving catch. Trickett has been accurate today.

2nd Quarter, 14 Minutes Left: West Virginia can't doodle and doddle around now. They are the better team, and must keep their heads together.

2nd Quarter, 14 Minutes Left: THROUGH! OKST on the board.

2nd Quarter, 14 Minutes Left: Glidden should have caught that, but he missed it. Now the field goal unit.

2nd Quarter, 15 Minutes Left: Garman getting David Glidden involved in this game a lot, now past mid-field.

End Of 1st: A lot of possession changes in this game. OKST again now, near midfield. Defenses maybe starting to figure each other out, though.

1st Quarter, 1 Minute Left: Ogbah sacks Trickett, Trickett fumbles, but is picked back up by WVU. Wow!

1st Quarter, 1 Minute Left: Jordan Sterns and the OKST defense putting in some good work now! 3rd and 10.

1st Quarter, 2 Minutes Left: West Virginia with the ball again. OKST in the danger zone of falling out of this.

1st Quarter, 3 Minutes Left: Dropped pass on 1st Down. Blitz by WVU is still working.

1st Quarter, 4 Minutes Left: West Virginia goes 3 and out! Maybe OKST can get back in the game now?

1st Quarter, 6 Minutes Left: Growing pains for Garman. He can't underthrow that ball.

1st Quarter, 6 Minutes Left: Interception!! Henry with the pick, what a disappointing end to a promising drive!

1st Quarter, 6 Minutes Left: Garman now has made 3 completed passes in a row. Things starting to open up for the Cowboys.

1st Quarter, 7 Minutes Left: Garman to Hill on 3rd down on a broken play. Drive continues.

1st Quarter, 7 Minutes Left: Oklahoma State commits a cardinal sin. They let Mario Alford, one of the fastest receivers in the FBS, get wide open, and he breezes by the OKST secondary. This is going to be a rout before long.

1st Quarter, 7 Minutes Left: TouchDOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWN MOUNTAINEERS!!! MARIO ALFORD! 79 YARDS!!!

1st Quarter, 8 Minutes Left: Jimmy Bean makes a mistake for OKST, offsides, now a first down 'Eers.

1st Quarter, 8 Minutes Left: Smallwood already has 6 touches on the day, being utilized often. 3rd and 4 now, but there's a flag.

1st Quarter, 9 Minutes Left: Holding on OKST. Will have to punt once again.

1st Quarter, 9 Minutes Left: Pokes like to play fast, but West Virginia's defense is forcing them to think. Now 4th down, but there is a flag.

1st Quarter, 9 Minutes Left: Oklahoma State is in need of a response. They did some things well on their first drive. Let's see if they can get it going now.

1st Quarter, 10 Minutes Left: The classic Trickett-White connection is at it again. Ramon Richards is not playing well in the secondary so far today. If they will let WVU drive like that all game, it will be a long day for the Cowboys.

1st Quarter, 10 Minutes Left: TouchDOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWN MOUNTAINEERS!!!! KEVIN WHITE!

1st Quarter, 11 Minutes Left: Smallwood again, to the Pokes' 30'!

1st Quarter, 12 Minutes Left: Trickett to Smallwood, fourteen yards, into OKST territory. This offense of WVU's has so many playmakers.

1st Quarter, 12 Minutes Left: On fourth down, Garman overthrows Hayes, as the pressure on Garman is effecting him. Great job by the WVU defense to slow things down.

1st Quarter, 13 Minutes Left: Oklahoma State stalls, now going for it on 4th down.

1st Quarter, 14 Minutes Left: OKST running well early. A big reception for Washington, OKST past midfield!

1st Quarter, 15 Minutes Left: Oklahoma State starts with the ball, at the 25. Let's see how Garman and Co. start the day.

3:33 PM EST: It is a beautiful day in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Kickoff in about 2 minutes.

3:25 PM EST: Just a few minutes until kickoff! Stay tuned!

1:38 PM EST: WVU must keep on doing what they have been doing: using their complex air raid offense to the fullest, and attack that OKST secondary that has given the Pokes fits all year. Daxx Garman has to play better than he did last week against TCU, a game in which he had no touchdowns and 2 interceptions. He is only a freshman, and is certainly under the heat in the wild Big 12. This shouldn’t be a contest, but you never know what OKST head coach Mike Gundy has up his sleeve. Stay with us as we guide you through the game.

1:36 PM EST: This is also an interesting matchup of head coaches. Mike Gundy has already established himself as one of the best brains in the game. The firey coach can turn a team around in a flash, so it will be interesting to see if the Pokes can respond well after the beatdown they suffered last week. As for Dana Holgerson with the ‘Eers, he was actually on the hot seat coming into the season. He has silenced all of his doubters, putting West Virginia back in the top 25. These two coaches are born and bred for the Big 12, and should be able to put on a good show for us today.

1:34 PM EST: Oklahoma State, at least from what we saw last week, is a hot mess right now. The youth is catching up to them. This year, junior QB Daxx Garman has jumped into the spotlight after star QB J.W. Walsh went out for the season with an injury. He’s steadily improving, and the Pokes are still trying to work with different formats in a new offensive set. They have a great running back in Desmond Roland, who has 7 touchdowns on the season so far, and a decent crop of WRs, but as the transition is still ongoing, it’s hard to imagine them keeping up with the prolific WVU offense today. As for their defense, DC Glenn Spencer has had rough patches for his growing defense this year. After losing Tyler Johnson, Calvin Barnett, and Justin Gilbert this past offseason, he’s had to rely on youngsters this year, but a healthy portion of them have played admirably. DE Emmanuel Ogbah and LB Josh Furman are tackling machines, and have keyed the defense. However, can Ramon Richards and the secondary step up against the passing game of WVU? We shall see.

1:33 PM EST: West Virginia has an electric offense, highlighted by a duo ranked as the best QB – WR combination in the nation. Quarterback Clint Trickett and wide receiver Kevin White are quite the pair, and 2nd WR Mario Alford is one of the speediest in the Big 12. Top that with a powerful running attack of three (including Andrew Buie, Rushell Shell, and Dreamius Smith), and you have the West Virginia Mountaineers. The defense has improved over last year, as inside linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski has anchored the corp. Not only that, but West Virginia has the Icky and Ricky show at cornerback, as Icky Banks and Ricky Rumphs have shown their skills the past few weeks, especially against Baylor. The real star of their defense is safety Karl Joseph, a potential NFL player. The hard-tackling secondary member leads WVU in many defensive statistics, and should play well today.

1:32 PM EST: Last year, a young West Virginia team took a highly ranked Pokes team to the wire, and prevailed over the Cowboys in Morgantown. It was one of West Virginia’s biggest Big 12 wins to date in terms of magnitude. Oklahoma State still won the Big 12, while West Virginia’s inexperience caught up to them in their first year without a bowl game in near a decade. This year, the Cowboys are looking for revenge for the loss last year. However, West Virginia does come into the game as the favorite.

1:31 PM EST: This is a battle between two teams going opposite directions. West Virginia had a massive win against #4 Baylor Bears in Morgantown last week, vaulting them into the Big 12 Championship discussion. If they win out, they will be in talks for the College Football Playoffs. Oklahoma State, on the other hand, suffered a thrashing last week against the strong TCU Horned Frogs. TCU’s Trevone Boykin and BJ Catalon ravaged the young Oklahoma State defense, while Daxx Garman and the OKST offense couldn’t get anything going. WVU is now in the top 25, while Oklahoma State fell out.

1:30 PM EST: Good evening, and welcome to Stillwater, Oklahoma, and VAVEL USA as we lead you through another Big 12 matchup, West Virginia - Oklahoma State. I’m Ben Anderson, your host for this live coverage of the game.
