After a much anticipated wait, the NFL released the 2014 schedule Wednesday evening.

To start off week one, the Packers will face off with the Seahawks in Seattle. This time it will be without the replacement refs. Another great first week game includes Manning taking on his former Colts in Denver this time around. Unfortuneately, this could be the last time we see Manning play against his former team.

Monday Night Football will make its return with a doubleheader featuring the Lions hosting the Giants first. New head coach Jim Caldwell will get his first opportunity to grab a win against Eli Manning and the Giants. The second game features the Chargers playing against the Cardinals who both made a fabulous run last season.

The defending Super Bowl Champions don't have the easiest season by any means. Out of the final six games, five of them are against divisional opponents. That will be a daunting task for the Seahawks knowing that they are in the toughest division in football.

For the Denver Broncos, they will get a chance at revenge against Seattle in the third week of the season. They also have an early bye in week four. This could effect them greatly if they are unable to stay healthy towards the middle and end of the season. Denver struggled to stay healthy on the defensive side last year. Another great game to look forward to is the Brady - Manning matchup. That will take place at least one more time in Foxborough.

Other exciting games throughout the season include the two divisional games between Seattle and the 49ers, one of which will be on Thanksgiving Night. Both teams could be in position to win their division in the final weeks. The Eagles and Colts will play on a Monday in week two. That game will bring a great matchup between two young quarterback talents involving Andrew Luck and Nick Foles. DeSean Jackson will get a chance to play his former team in weeks three and 16.

The season will now give many people the chance to discuss the season and make their predictions. Next on the list for the NFL is the draft which takes place on Thursday, May 8.
