At this time last season, Baltimore Ravens' wide receiver Marlon Brown showed great flashes of potential during mini camp and training camp as an undrafted rookie. As the preseason approached, Brown unanimously won the starting receiver role opposite veteran Torrey Smith. Brown led the Ravens in touchdown catches with seven and also finished the 2013 season with 49 catches for 524 yards.

Fast forward to this offseason and there are reports that Brown is dropping a lot of passes under the new look Ravens' offense under coordinator Gary Kubiak. The Ravens currently have a log jam at the receiver position when you factor in Smith, Steve Smith, Jacoy Jones and a surprise undrafted rookie Jeremy Butler. If Brown doesn't get it together, he may very well be cut.

Out of all the seasons to struggle, this year isn't the year for any player on the Ravens' offense. The Ravens have just about exhausted their options as of late upgrading an offense which struggled in all areas in the game in 2013. With a new offensive coordinator in town and Joe Flacco looking to bounce back from his 2013 season, patience will weigh thin for players on offense. The Ravens want to see their investment in Flacco go in the right direction.
