Seattle Seahawks Pro Bowl running back Marshawn Lynch will end his holdout and plans on reporting to training camp shortly.

It is reported that Lynch will not be receiving a new deal or the added money he was looking for when he first began his holdout. Instead Seattle is expected to add a number of financial concessions to his current contract.

Lynch’s holdout lasted a total of eight days so far where he was subjected to a $30,000 fine for the first six days and $60,000 for each day after those initial six days. In total Lynch has accumulated nearly $500,000 in fines, and the Seahawks could also fine Lynch 15 percent of his prorated signing bonus if they choose to do so.

For right now it’s very possible that the Seahawks end up waiving all the fines otherwise it’s hard to fathom Lynch would end his holdout without them doing so.

Coach Pete Carroll made it clear last week that the Seahawks wouldn't be giving Lynch a raise, "It's a contract for a reason. We made a decision and it was signed, by us and by them," Carroll said. "We expect them to honor their contract just as we will. We're going to honor it and we expect them to do the same."

Lynch is in the third year of a four-year, $30 million deal where he received $6 million of it in a signing bonus. Lynch will make $5 million in base salary this season and $5.5 million in 2015, and was looking for more money up front or more money guaranteed.

Lynch, the player they call Beast mode, has been the workhorse of the Seahawks offense for the last three years rushing for 4,051 yards (along with 39 touchdowns) on 901 carries. He has averaged 300 carries and 1,350 yards over the past three seasons.
