Football is finally back! It's something that every football fan has been waiting for and it is exciting to see players get on the field again.

The first play from scrimmage was for 0 yards, an incompletion from Eli Manning to Jerrel Jernigan. And every play can be quickly followed in our live event tonight.

Buffalo, despite getting the ball second, is the one who is credited with getting the first, first down of the preseason, a completion from EJ Manuel to tight end Lee Smith. Manuel really needs to step up his game this season, because the Bills gave up their first rounder next year when they traded up with Cleveland to draft Sammy Watkins.

Speaking of Watkins, he is targeted on the first drive of the game but is overthrown by EJ Manuel, probably because the coverage was quite tight and it looks like no one was open.

The first big play of the game is a turnover on a fumble by Eli Manning. Kyle Williams the second year defensive end from LSU forced the fumble. The Bills recovered deep in Giants territory, but couldn't get into the end zone once they reached the red zone. Then they had to settle for a 30 yard field goal by Dan Carpenter to take the lead.

After two defensive series, the Bills pulled their starters, but the Giants kept their offensive starters in the game. Eli Manning usually isn't in the game this long for a preseason game, but he made it into the final minute of the first quarter, which is pretty ridiculous for the first preseason game.

Andre Williams, the fourth round rookie running back out of Boston College, gets the first touchdown of the game. He has probably been the most impressive player so far in the game. He also would have the most fantasy points of any player in the first half with 10 (48 rushing yards, 1 touchdown), but nobody plays preseason fantasy football (if they did, they would be incredibly crazy)

Jeff Tuel is the next man in at quarterback for the Bills, as their second string offense came in after the scoring drive by the Giants. He had a very nice run out of a read option play.

Before the game everyone was talking about all the flags and illegal contact between wide receivers and cornerbacks. Haven't really seen much of those flags being thrown so far in the first half.

Ryan Nassib the second year quarterback from Syracuse was the man to quarterback the Giants on their drive to get them in place for the field goal.

The most exciting play of the half was the deflected punt by Dominique Easley on New York Giant punter Steve Weatherford with under two minutes remaining in the half.

The first half comes to a close on a Jeff Tuel interception caught by safety Cooper Taylor.

But of all things, let's take a closer look at the first half stats:
