The Colts have been just one of many teams to find great success on offense this season. Currently they have scored 310 points already this season en route to their 6-4 record. Their questions do not lie on offense, but on the defensive side of the ball. But in their previous meeting, back in week 3, the Colts notched their first victory of the season by defeating the Jaguars 44-17 in Jacksonville. Part of the reason they have had greater offensive success this year is that Andrew Luck has cut down on his interceptions that he has had in previous seasons. Through 10 games he has 28 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Normally this would be considered exceptional, but several quarterbacks are posting even more staggering numbers this year. One thing that will be interesting this week is if Gus Bradley's defense will be able to focus on shutting down the passing game with little to no weapons available to the Colts in the running game.

But the Jaguars have changed their offense considerably since their last matchup. Toby Gerhart is now out at running back as the Jaguars have turned to the former Wolverine quarterback Denard Robinson. They had been seeing some success behind rookie wide receiver Allen Robinson, but he was recently injured so they will be focusing more on Cecil Shorts and Allen Hurns. One player that has been disappointing so far for them this season has been former USC wideout Marqise Lee. Right now he has only 13 catches for 141 yards and no touchdowns yet in this season. Also, despite a lot of the talent on the defense, they have only forced 10 interceptions through 10 games. That makes it difficult when they can't turn anyone over.

When it comes down to it, the Jaguars just don't have enough to matchup against the Colts. They have lost to three other teams with good offenses this season in the Broncos, Eagles, and Patriots. All three of those teams scored 30 points or more in the Colts losses. The Jaguars have yet to score at least 30 points all season long, with their season high being 24 against the Cleveland Browns in their lone win of the season. This writer predicts a final score in this contest of Colts 41, Jaguars 21.
