The Kansas City Chiefs and safety Eric Berry have some scary news. Eric Berry has a mass on the inside of his chest which is very dangerous. He will be placed on the non football injury list. Which most likely makes him out indefinitely and for the remainder of the season. Doctors believe that the mass is caused from Lynphoma. After the Thursday night loss to the Oakland Raiders, Eric Berry complained of having chess pain to the team doctors. He retuned following the loss on Friday. The doctors of the Kansas City Chiefs ran several tests. They couidn't think of anything as the results were negative.

An MRI revealed to the team doctors that a mass had been in Berry's chest. The doctors also ran several X-Rays and different blood tests hoping to find the any answers. Once the doctors found the mass insude of his chest they sent Eric Berry to a specialist in a hospital. Eric Berry will be treated at Emroy Hospital, which is close to his home.

Eric Berry has been a pro-bowler in three of his first four seasons. This season Berry has 0 interceptions with 0 sacks. The Kansas City Chiefs are hoping to have him back well in 2015.

A statement by Eric Berry was released on Monday.

"I am truly thankful for all of the support from family, friends, coaches, teammates and the entire Chiefs kingdom," he said in the statement. "At first I was in shock with the diagnosis on Saturday and did not even want to miss a game, but I understand that right now I have to concentrate on a new opponent."
