A total of five games stand between the San Diego Chargers and their postseason aspirations, and if they can win these games they will be able to boast some very impressive victories. The first of those potentially impressive matchups is going to be at M&T Bank Stadium where the Baltimore Ravens are on a four game winning streak and trying to keep pace with the rest of their division. The AFC North has all four teams with records of at least three games over .500.

The Chargers (7-4) and Ravens (7-4) would be fighting for a wild card spot in a tight conference, assuming that the Ravens do not end up with the division title. This game would play significant importance into the AFC wild card spots, as the team who wins this game would hold the tiebreaker and have a better chance at the wild card spot.

The biggest Chargers notable injuries that may have an effect on this game are going to be on the defensive line. Nose Tackle Ryan Carrethers, Outside Linebacker Dwight Freeney, and Inside Linebacker Andrew Gachkar did not practice on Wednesday. Carrethers is dealing with an elbow injury and Gachkar is dealing with a knee injury. Dwight Freeney is listed on the injury report, though his non-practicing status is not injury related.

Hopefully these players, as well as Running Back Ryan Mathews and Wide Receiver Eddie Royal can get to where they can play in this weekend’s game. With games against New England, Denver, Kansas City, and San Francisco after this game against the Ravens, San Diego will need all the help they can get to pull off a win on the road against another AFC opponent.
