The Cleveland Browns added a couple veterans to their squad on Tuesday. The team agreed to terms with cornerback Tramon Williams and defensive lineman Randy Starks. While these moves might not grab headlines, they are great moves to add depth and experience to the Browns.

Tramon Williams, 32, signed a three-year contract worth $21 million. Williams was an anchor in the secondary for the Green Bay Packers throughout his tenure. Williams has 22 interceptions since 2010, the only player with more in that time period is Richard Sherman. He is also second in the league in pass break-ups with 82, new teammate Joe Haden has 87. Williams had peaked the interest of many other teams, but ultimately chose to sign with the Browns because it was "a good fit for me".

With Williams, an already stout secondary gets even stronger. The Browns already have Pro Bowl corner Joe Haden and are developing their first-round draft pick of a year ago Justin Gilbert. The Browns felt the need to replace Buster Skrine, who signed with the New York Jets last week.

Randy Starks, 31, was released from the Miami Dolphins last week. Terms of his deal were not disclosed, but Starks agreed to a two-year deal worth close to $8 million, according to a source. Starks adds depth and a veteran presence to a young but talented Browns defensive line. Starks also has the ability to play both defensive end and defensive tackle, adding to the way he can be used for the Browns.

The Browns defense ranked ninth overall in points allowed in 2014. However, their offense ranked 27th in points scored. Look for the Browns to make a few moves to acquire play makers, whether in the NFL Draft or acquiring free agents. They did sign wide receiver Brian Hartline on March 10th.
