Ian Rapoport reporting that the first pick of the fourth round may be in play as the Titans could be looking to acquire another pick or two today.

We are just about 10 minutes from the start of Day 3 of the NFL Draft. What are you looking for your team to do?

What an incredible sports we have on the horizon. Join us after our draft coverage today for live coverage of Game 7 between the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Clippers, live coverage of the Kentucky Derby, and live coverage of the big fight tonight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao

Schefter reporting that there is a potential knee issue that could be hurting the draft stock of Jay Ajayi.

Adam Schefter reports today that it does not look like Hundley or Petty will be available for too long today. The Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers were surprise names to be interested in these quarterbacks.

One other name to keep your eye on is Ohio State defensive lineman Michael Bennett. He is another big name that is still available. A second round talent who can greatly improve his team's pass rush.

It was surprising to this writer as well to see the fall of Boise State running back Jay Ajayi. Don't be surprised to see him go early as well, he is a second-round talent for sure and our top-rated running back still remaining on our VAVEL USA Draft Board.

We had a very interesting day yesterday in which no quarterbacks were taken. That means that potential difference makers Bryce Petty from Baylor and UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley are still available. It will be interesting to see if the Jets snag one of those with their high fourth-round pick.

And we welcome you into our live coverage of the 2015 NFL Draft. My name is Matthew Evans.

All of those questions and more will be answered over the next few hours as the 2015 NFL Draft concludes on Saturday in the Windy City.

Another team to watch in the fourth round is the San Francisco 49ers. They will have three selections in the round with the possibility of adding some very key pieces to their depleted roster. They are looking for a wide receiver, could Washington State wide receiver Vince Mayle get the call to the Bay Area? Or could the Niners look at size and select 6-foot-6 wideout Darren Waller from Georgia Tech?

One of the things that the New York Jets are looking for is a quarterback. This may be the perfect time to select that man as both Bryce Petty from Baylor and Brett Hundley from UCLA should still be available on the board. Will one of them get the call to play in the Big Apple? We’ll find out when the fifth pick is announced.

The Jets made another very good selection in the third round as they picked up outside linebacker Lorenzo Mauldin out of Louisville. He has excellent size at 6-foot-4 and 259 lbs with some speed at 4.85 40-yard dash. The thing that really makes this a great pick is the heart that he shows. He has overcome a lot of adversity to get to this points and he is surely someone that this writer will be rooting for to succeed.

On Friday night, they added a deep-threat as well a player who could turn into the heart of the defense. Wide Receiver Devin Smith out of Ohio State was the team’s second round selection. Smith is a burner with 4.4 speed and a 39-inch vertical leap. He caught 12 touchdowns in 2014 and led the Buckeyes with 931 yards receiving. He does struggle with catches in traffic but he usually is able to get by defenders with his wheels.

Selecting fifth in the fourth round is the New York Jets. They have had a very good draft so far selection Leonard Williams in the first round. Williams was considered by many experts to be the best player in this year’s draft and the Jets were able to get him at six, without having to trade up.

Moving into the fourth round, Jacksonville is still looking to bolster their defensive backfield. If they are looking to continue with their SEC drafting scheme, look for them to select someone like Damian Swann of Georgia, Nick Marshall of Auburn, or Justin Coleman from Tennessee. Cody Prewitt from Ole Miss is the highest-rated SEC safety left on the board at 8th, from there it drops all the way to 21st where a trio of SEC safeties lie, Jermaine Whitehead, Ronald Martin and Justin Cox.

The Jacksonville Jaguars hold the fourth selection in the fourth round. They have done a pretty good job so far of crossing off their positions of need with their selections. That started in the first round with the pick of Florida linebacker Dante Fowler Jr. They followed it up in the second round when they selected Alabama running back T.J. Yeldon. In the third round, they continued their SEC lovefest selecting A.J. Cann, guard out of South Carolina. All three were very good picks.

Oakland has four picks on Saturday and will be looking to upgrade at the cornerback, offensive line and running back positions. Do not be surprised to see the Raiders go with a cornerback at this spot whether it be Charles Gaines of Louisville, Ekpre-Olomu, or even the California boy Josh Shaw from USC.

They made a very interesting selection in the third round picking up tight end Clive Walford out of the University of Miami. Walford is a very good pass-catching tight end who has improved his blocking skills significantly over the last season with the Miami Hurricanes. He led his positional group in the forty-yard dash (4.79 sec), the vertical jump (35 inches), and the broad jump (120 inches). He is very athletic and should serve as another solid weapon for Derek Carr.

The Oakland Raiders hold the third selection of the fourth round. They have address a few of their needs with their first three picks. We already discussed the Amari Cooper selection during the LIVE preview yesterday. They made an interesting selection in the second round grabbing Mario Edwards Jr out of Florida State. There was some concern about which player that the Raiders would actually be getting as Edwards lost almost 40 points going into his pro day.

Get ready to see a lot of the Patriots as they hold seven total picks today including three picks in the fourth round. Look for them to address the offensive line with this first pick.

New England addressed their defensive line with their third-round compensatory pick as they picked up Geneo Grissom from the University of Oklahoma. Grissom is listed at only 6-foot-3 but he has very long 33 3/8” arms. He has experience playing both on the defensive line and also at linebacker. His speed is not something to write home to mom about but he is very quick off the line.

In the second round they selected safety Jordan Richards out of Stanford. It was a bit of head-scratcher as Richards was projected to be a third-day selection somewhere between Round Four and Round Six. Don’t be surprised to see Richards used as a wide receiver during the pre-season workouts and mini-camps. Another reason to support that thought process is that Richards does have good hands and the Patriots are in need of a wide receiver.

Selecting second in the fourth round will be the New England Patriots with a pick they received for guard Logan Mankins. The Patriots made very New England Patriot-type picks with their two selections on Friday night.

Going into the third day of the draft, the Titans still are looking for defensive help in all areas of the field. Don’t be surprised to see a majority of these picks come from that side of the ball. Since they are selecting first, this writer thinks that they will go cornerback and select Ifo Ekpre-Olomu out of Oregon. He is a player with first round talent who missed the Bowl Games for the Ducks after suffering a torn ACL during practice.

With their third round selection, the Titans picked up a much needed offensive lineman in Jeremiah Poutasi out of Utah. Poutasi did play tackle in college but he will likely be used as an interior lineman during the upcoming NFL season. The Titans currently have just one player listed in each of the three interior positions on their depth chart.

Tennessee would use their newly acquired selection to draft troubled wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham out of the University of Missouri. DGB brings with him a big target to throw to at 6-foot-5 and will be a great addition to the receiving corps provided he stays out of trouble.

After selecting Marcus Mariota with the second overall pick, the Titans traded out of the 33rd selection acquiring the 40th pick and a fourth-round selection from the New York Giants.

We will start with the Tennessee Titans, they have six selections on Saturday as of this writing. They will get us underway with the 1st pick in the Fourth Round.

As we get you ready for today’s action, let’s take a look at how teams have done so far and what they could be looking to take in the final rounds.

This is a very smart move by the league to try and speed up the final round which at times can seem like it takes forever to complete. There is no doubt that this move will be a success but we will find out for sure after the draft is completed.

It may seem like today is moving faster than in year’s past and that is accurate. The NFL quietly modified the rule reducing the amount of time between picks in the seventh round to four minutes instead of the usual five. Rounds four, five, and six will still operate with the normal time limit. The time between compensatory picks has also been reduced as those picks cannot be traded by the team that holds them.

Saturday of the NFL Draft is where a team’s scouts make their money as they look for players who can come in to make a contribution or even fill a depth position.

Today is the most important day of the draft in this writer’s opinion as here is where teams can find that diamond in the rough player. As a fan of the Seattle Seahawks, we know very well how these late-round selections can make a big impact for the team. Players like Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor, Byron Maxwell, Malcolm Smith, and K.J. Wright were all selected from the fourth round and beyond.
