After drafting Jameis Winston in the first round, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers drafted two receivers in round five and six. Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson are both back but, Jackson is 32 and besides both of those there's a drop-off in production. Louis Murphy is coming off of an injury and Robert Herron drafted last year hasn't been a factor.

Prior to the draft, the Buccaneers had some interest in drafting a wide receiver. Kenny Bell in the fifth round out of Nebraska and Kaelin Clay out of Utah who will most likely be the return man, something the Buccaneers really had issues with last year.

Kenny Bell could easily be the next Mike Evans. He's a deep threat and him and his Nebraska teammate became the first duo's to get 100 yards since 2007. He's a reliable threat in the passing game because of his hand skills. His timing is off with route running. Also, adjusting to the routes are a problem for him. He possibly could be the fourth receiver behind Louis Murphy but has a chance to start. Vincent Jackson is a mentor and a teacher and could help him improve.

Finally, the return man was a disaster for the Buccaneers. They didn't have someone to consistently fill the void and they signed a few players to fulfill the job. Which is why in the sixth round the Buccaneers selected Kaelin Clay out of Utah. Kaelin Clay won the return man of the year award and tied for first in the nation with three punt returns returned for touchdowns. However, Clay isn't really known for his ability to be a wide receiver. He did catch 43 passes for 523 yards in 2014 but on returns he combined for 894 yards on 45 returns.
