According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Cleveland Browns have added another piece to their front office, implementing Andrew Berry as the Vice President of Player Personnel. Andrew Berry will have an influence in what players are retained, signed, and drafted to the Browns' roster.

Andrew Berry served as a scout assistant for the Indianapolis Colts in 2009 and became the Pro Scouting Coordinator in 2012.

Berry is highly acclaimed and in a quote from Hall of Famer Bill Polian, he said Berry is "one of the brightest young men we have ever had the pleasure of working with," and that he is "not surprised" with Berry joining the Browns at such an important position.

Andrew Berry graduated from college in four years with a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in computer science from Harvard University. Berry also played cornerback for the Crimson for four years. He was nominated to the All-Ivy League team three of those four years.

Browns' Executive Vice President of Football Operations, Sashi Brown, mentioned on the Browns' website, "We are fortunate to add someone of Andrew's caliber to the Cleveland Browns."

Head coach Hue Jackson also had high praise for the new hire, saying, "In spending time with Andrew, it is evident that he has a very strong understanding of the game. His substance and depth in his analysis of how to build a successful team and how he looks at individual players will be a great benefit to us moving forward. It is critical to not just rely on one individual but to have a leader in place that can bring together a comprehensive array of information from our talented and hard working group of scouts and raise the strategic level and success of our approach."
