Seattle Seahawks players hit the road in Week 4 seeking a third win, and second straight, before entering the team’s by week.

The Seahawks will be traveling to a very familiar field on Sunday when they take on the Jets at MetLife Stadium. Seattle previously won the franchise’s first Super Bowl at the stadium in convincing fashion over the Denver Broncos.

It may not be another Super Bowl, but the Hawks will be looking for a win all the same when they take on the New York Jets.

The game will mark the Seattle debut of running back C.J. Spiller, who was signed earlier this week. A former first-round pick by Buffalo, Spiller is a six-year veteran who could make a significant impact for Seattle.

From 2012 to 2013, the veteran racked up 2,821 yards from scrimmage and 10 total touchdowns. That yardage total included 2,177 rushing yards on 5.3 yards per carry and 644 receiving yards on 8.5 yards per reception.

He’ll face a Jets defense that has allowed the third-fewest rushing yards in the league this season.

Previous Games

New York is coming off a 24-3 loss in Kansas City. During the game, quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick managed just 188 yards and threw six interceptions. Things won’t get any easier against a Seattle team that just dominated San Francisco.

In the team’s week 3 win over the 49ers, the Hawks held Blaine Gabbert to just 119 yards and an interception. Carlos Hyde did run for 103 yards and two scores, however most of that came when the game was out of reach. Seattle held a 30-3 lead heading into the fourth quarter before ultimately winning 37-18.

Former players

While their currently aren’t any former Jets on Seattle’s roster, there are a number of former Seahawks on New York’s current roster. Running back Troymaine Pope, who turned heads in the preseason for Seattle earlier this year, is currently the Jets’ third-string running back.

Tight end Kellen Davis, who spent the 2013 season in Seattle, also contributes on offense for the Jets. Up front, James Carpenter, a former first-round pick of the Hawks, starts for New York. Fellow ex-Seattle lineman Breno Giacomini is currently on the physically unable to perform list.

Seahawks Injury Report

The Seahawks will be without running back Thomas Rawls (fibula), who has been ruled out after missing a week’s worth of practices. Tight ends Jimmy Graham (knee/back) and Nick Vannett (ankle) are both listed as questionable. Joining the duo in drawing the “questionable” designation are outside linebacker Mike Morgan (hip), defensive tackle Jarran Reed (hip) and running back C.J. Prosise (wrist).

Jets Injury Report

On the other side of the field, the Jets will be without a pair of wide receivers in Jalin Marshall (shoulder) and Eric Decker (shoulder). Both have been ruled out. Also joining them on the sidelines will be quarterback Bryce Petty (r. shoulder), who has also been ruled out. Rounding out the injury report is offensive lineman Ryan Clady (shoulder), who is listed as questionable.
