The NHL announced the teams playing in the Stadium Series in the 2015-16 season. the Blackhawks will be playing in Minnesota - the Wild, while the Red Wings will be traveling to Colorado to take on the Avalanche.

According to CBS and Yahoo, the Colorado game will likely be played at Coors Field, The Minnesota game will likely be played at Target Field. The NHL is also finalizing the Winter Classic, which will most likely be played in Foxborough, Massachusetts at Gillette Stadium. This would not be much of a surprise as baseball stadiums have had some of the best reactions in the Stadium Series, but trying to get into Fenway Park could be difficult with the specific dimensions with the Green Monster. Playing the Winter Classic at Gillette Stadium, the home of the New England Patriots, simply would be a better decision for all involved.

According to the Star Tribune out of Minnesota the Blackhawks versus Wild game will be played in February. The Red Wings versus Colorado game has not yet had a start time or  date decided, however it would be fitting if the game was played on March 26, as this was a very historic day for the rivalry.
