The Anaheim Ducks are on a roll this season, as they have won six games straight and eight of their last nine. Goaltender Frederik Andersen has had no issue getting back into action after the All-Star break, making 17 saves which lead the team to yet another win, 4-0 over Vancouver. This is Andersen's third shutout this season and Andersen's 7th straight win.

During the first period, Matt Beleskey scored the first goal 13 minutes into the game. He was assisted by Hampus Lindholm and Ryan Kesler. Vancouver's Daniel Sedin received a penalty for hooking against Ducks' star Ryan Getzlaf. Anaheim's Ben Lovejoy got a penalty for interference against Bo Horvat, while Francois Beauchemin also got penalized for checking Horvat.

The second period started with Corey Perry of Anaheim getting a penalty for hooking Daniel Sedin three minutes into the period. And then five minutes into the period, Zack Kassian(Vancover) got penalized for roughing against Corey Perry. Janine Hansen of Vancover was sent to the box for interference on the goalkeeper against Frederik Andersen which led the Ducks to a power play goal that was shot by Kyle Palmieri with the assistance of Rickard Rakell.

And then in the third period Anaheim scored twice more; one was shot by Rickard Rakell and he had assistance from Clayton Stoner and Sami Vatanen. The fourth and final shot of the night was done single handedly by Patrick Maroon. The third period was free of penalties.

With Anaheim having 24 shots on goal and Vancover having 17 shots on goal, the Ducks came up on top to win the game 4-0. It wouldn't be surprising if the Ducks make it to the Stanley Cup Finals, as they are doing stupendously well this season, even without Teemu Selanne, who retired last year. The three stars of the game went to Cam Fowler, Frederik Andersen, and Rickard Rakell, who are all from the Anaheim Ducks.

Anaheim heads to San Jose on Thursday for a California rivalry game against the Sharks. The Canucks will look to rebound at home on Friday against the lowly Buffalo Sabres.
