Things are getting interesting in Montreal as many rumors surrounding the club continue to make their way out to the public which has put many fans on edge with their future given GM Marc Bergiven is looking to change things up both on and off the ice. This being said, they continue to seek a win for the first time since February 9 against the Tampa Bay Lightning at the Bell Centre which was part of a three-game winning streak.

It all started last Sunday night when Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reported that the team was listening in on offers for Tom Gilbert and Tomas Fleischmann, meaning the likelihood of their return was put into doubt and remains that way at this time. Earlier this week, Darren Dreger of TSN.ca reported that Dale Weise was also unlikely to return as the two sides have not been in discussion with regards to a long-term contract extension. This being said, several teams are currently showing interest in the 27-year-old winger.

On Thursday evening, another report was made and had also come from Dreger, who said that Lars Eller has been made availiable to the market as the team looks to completely rebuild in an effort to put together a winning team for 2017.

Looking at a development of which occurred earlier today, Louis Jean of TVA Sports reported that one executive from another team confirmed to him that the Habs have been searching the open market for a team willing to take on P.K. Subban after several mistakes have gotten him stuck on the wrong end of head coach Michel Therrien.

Subban was called out after their game against the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday when Therrien stated that a single mistake from the 26-year-old defenseman had cost them the game, which has also suggested that there would be roster change coming in the near future.

Why is it that Subban's other side has gotten the best of him lately?

This is not the first time that Subban has been the main target of several altercations, whether it has been between teammates, opponents, coaches or linesman. Dating back to February 12 when the Canadiens were on the road taking on the Buffalo Sabres, Subban appeared to have been upset following an attempted clear from Ryan O’Reilly which deflected off a linesman and bounced towards Evander Kane who then scored the game-winning empty-net goal with just minutes to go in the third period.

Subban spoke to NHL.com's Arpon Basu ahead of Friday's game about what has been going on of late where he said, "I think I'm part of the answer, not the problem."

While this was going on, Sportsnet.ca's Eric Engles caught up with Therrien who said, "I would've said that about any player making that play at that time of the game. P.K.'s a very intelligent guy and he'll learn from his mistakes. I have no doubt about that."

In other Habs news which has unraveled throughout the week, David Desharnais is set to miss the next three weeks of action after suffering a fractured left foot during Monday's game against the Arizona Coyotes.

Tom Gilbert made an early exit on Friday night after suffering an upper-body injury during the third period and a timetable is yet to be made for his recovery as we await an official diagnosis. As for Carey Price, he is set to miss the entirety of the 2015-16 season as he continues to rehab from a leg injury suffered at the season's start. At this time, no further progress has been made as he continues to move around without equipment.

The Canadiens added one for the victory column on Friday night with a 3-2 win over the Flyers as Paul Byron put the game to a happy end and they are right back at it on Monday night against the Nashville Predators at the Bell Centre. In the end, Subban ended up coming back to reality as he was awarded the game's first star.
