The 2015 Continental Tire Road Race Showcase at Road America next weekend will feature 35 cars across each of the four classes of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship.

Prototype

A major change racing fans have been anticipating to occur in the Prototype class, which skipped the Northeast Grand Prix, was witnessing the debut of the gasoline-powered SpeedSource Maxda SKYACTIV car, which was slated to happen in the second half of the season. But as of now, the two P2-style entries from Mazda Motorsports will stick to their SKYACTIV-Diesel program with a two-car entry.

The Prototype category is made up of nine cars in total for the weekend, including also the No. 7 Starworks Motorsport Riley DP, which currently has both driver slots TBA.

Prototype Challenge

Seven Chevrolet-powered ORECA FLM09 entries are set to compete at Road America.

Three total TBA driver slots are currently listed. Both drivers are missing from the No. 16 BAR1 Motorsports entry, and a driver is yet to be named to drive alongside James French (in his home race; he's from Sheboygan, Wisconsin) in the No. 38 Performance Tech Motorsports car.

GT Le Mans

The highly anticipated comeback of the GT Le Mans category, after not competing at Lime Rock Park last weekend, will feature a total of eight entries.

Nothing has altered in the flagship GT class since their last outing at the Mobil 1 Sports Car Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

GT Daytona

Eleven GTD class cars are entered for the Road America weekend, including Compass360 Racing's Audi R8 LMS, marking the team's second consecutive start in the TUDOR Championship. Pierre Kleinubing and Ray Mason will drive the car once again.

After winning at last weekend's 24 Hours of Spa, Markus Palttala returns to the No. 97 BMW Z4 of Turner Motorsport, joining Michael Marsal who crashed the car in the opening practice last weekend at Lime Rock Park before the team played a perfect strategy and won in class on Sunday - after missing the second practice and qualifying.

Additionally in the GT Daytona category, Wright Motorsports is again on the entry list after not competing last weekend at Lime Rock; both driver slots are TBA for the No. 58 Porsche 911 GT America gat this time, though.
