Andy Lee put the No. 20 BestIT Racing Chevrolet Camaro on pole for Round 15 for the GTS class during the 30-minute-long qualifying session on Saturday.

With comfortable 67 degree temperatures but overcast conditions, the session got started with GTS points leader Michael Cooper taking the No. 10 Blackdog Speed Shop Camaro to the top of the timesheet with a 1:41.216, followed by the two Kinetic Motorsports Kia Optimas of Mark Wilkins and Ben Clucas

Just 10 minutes in, Lee turned what would stand as the fastest lap of the session, a 1:40.961, putting the No. 20 Camaro on pole for Saturday afternoon's Round 15 race.

Cooper's time from earlier in the session would be good enough to place the No. 10 Blackdog Camaro second on the grid for Saturday afternoon's race. Meanwhile, the two Kias of Wilkins and Clucas will start third and fourth on the grid, respectively.

The times of the top two, Lee and Cooper, bested the previous qualifying record set last year by Jack Baldwin of 1:41.250.

Lee will start from pole for his first time of this 2015 season, but the ninth of his career.

The Round 15 race for the GTS category will begin at 4:30 pm ET.
