Last night, the MLS All Star fan voted eleven players who will participate in the 2014 MLS All Star game in Portland,Oregon this August was announced. Fans were encouraged to vote at mlssoccer.com from May 28th, until June 11th; Also via Twitter from June 2nd until June 6th. The list of players has both quality, and skill. Not to mention that eight of the eleven players who were voted, were on the USMNT World Cup squad who competed in Brazil this summer. This year's All-Star game will most definitely have a taste of Brazil 2014 in it, because most of the players who make up this German powerhouse were part of the German World Cup squad that won it all this year. The 2014 MLS All Star game is set for August 6th at Providence Park in Portland, Oregon home of the MLS's Portland Timbers.

Portland Timbers and MLS All Star head coach Caleb Porter will make his announcement of who he will personally choose for his team, Saturday, July 19th during halftime of the Sporting Kansas City-LA Galaxy match. With no Timbers players on the fan voted starting eleven, keep an eye out to see if Porter takes some of his own to the match. The official 20 man roster will most likely be a combination of the Fan XI, Porters picks, Garbers picks, and teammate picks.
