112. That is how many shutouts Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando has in his career. That is also the Major League Soccer record. With one more shutout, Rimando can break the record, and add to the records he owns. He holds the MLS record of penalty kick saves.

Rimando tied the record in RSL's 1-0 win against the Colorado Rapids, despite the team going a man down. Colorado kept pressure on the goal all night. Nick Rimando got help from his defense, especially defender Nat Borchers. Nat stopped many goal scoring opportunities that could have gone in. Carlos Salcedo did the same, subbing in for forward Devon Sandoval after defender Aaron Maund recieved a red card for denial of a goal scoring opportunity.

Nick has a chance to break the record against DC United on Saturday the 9th. Whether he does it or not, we'll have to see.
