This week's episode is all about the Major League Soccer Postseason. We start off the show by mentioning the United States Women's National Team and their World Cup Qualification before diving in to MLS Playoff Talk. We also talked a little about the new Major Arena Soccer League, which opened its season this past weekend as well as an update on the bit of CONCACAF Champions League action which took place after recording last week.
Your two hosts of the podcast are Liam McMahon and Matthew Evans. Evans is a longtime contributor to VAVEL USA across several sections including MLS, NFL, NBA, NCAA Football and more while McMahon is one of the newer members of the VAVEL USA team, only joining in July. Evans is based just outside of Seattle, Washington while McMahon hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Evans is an avid follower of the Seattle Seahawks and Sounders while McMahon has been in love with the Green Bay Packers since he first felt the vibrations emanate from Lambeau Field, follows the Milwaukee Brewers and wholeheartedly believes that when MLS, NASL or USL Pro takes the step to place a team in Milwaukee it will be the greatest decision they ever made.
