Dominic Oduro is on the move again, this time to join the Montreal Impact for 2015. Oduro was exchanged for allocation money in this latest deal. He was traded from Columbus Crew SC to Toronto FC during the 2014 Major League Soccer season. Oduro played in a total of 69 games in the last two seasons, having scored 15 goals.

In his whole Major League Soccer career, Oduro has 265 Major League Soccer appearances and 16 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup appearances between six teams since 2006. In that time, he has scored a total of 69 goals, 62 in Major League Soccer play and seven in US Open Cup play. He has also made one appearance for the Ghana National Team against Chile. That appearance was on February 29, 2012 at PPL Park in Chester, Pennsylvania.

Dominic was drafted in 2006 by FC Dallas as the 22nd overall draft pick. He spent three years in Dallas with his first Major League Soccer goal coming against the New York Red Bulls on July 8, 2006. He began the 2009 season with the New York Red Bulls after being traded with the 11th and 18th overall picks in the MLS SuperDraft for Dave van der Bergh was sent to Dallas along with the 14th overall pick. However, things did not work well for him in New York as he only made three appearances and was traded less than six months later to the Houston Dynamo for two picks, the first overall pick in the 2010 draft and a second round pick in 2011.

He spent two seasons with the Dynamo, the 2011 and 2012 seasons with the Chicago Fire, the 2013 season with the Columbus Crew before being traded to Toronto FC. Now, he will come to Montreal to help Frank Klopas institute changes to the club for the 2015 MLS season.
