We hope you have enjoyed today's coverage of the Women's National Team and Men's National Team matches. This is Jasmine Stefanik signing off for today. Feel free to tweet me (@JasmineS_VAVEL) if you have any questions or comments about today's match.

The United States has officially made it twenty undefeated home matches and started to right the ship heading into what will undoubtabely be a very busy summer. Today's match was a good one for some names who were called into camp like Miguel Ibarra and Gyasi Zardes to be able to make a name for themselves and be considered for future team consideration. Perry Kitchen and Matt Hedges have also picked up their first USMNT caps today.

90' + 3' - The final whistle has just blown on today's match. The two goals were scored today by Michael Bradley and Clint Dempsey.

Going into the 91st minute, it looks like today, the US men's team will get back into the win column and make it 20 home games which they are undefeated in.

90' - 3 minutes have been added to the end of today's match as Panama and the US are still challenging and being plenty physical.

79' - Miguel Ibarra will be substituted off for Lee Nguyen of the New England Revolution ending Ibarra's first start for the US. Nguyen also makes his first appearance in a US uniform after 7 and 1/2 years.

77' - Panama is trying to push their attack, but dispossessed for a moment by the US, but gets the ball back and gets all the way to Sean Johnson who takes a moment to settle the pace.

75' - Panama pushing up the right flank, but the ball rolls out of bounds for a corner kick.

73' - Gyasi Zardes is again fouled, and Michael Bradley takes the ensuing throw-in for the US.

70' - DeAndre Yedlin will be coming off due to injury. And, is going to be replaced by Matt Hedges. Also being replaced is Mix Diskerud with DC United's Perry Kitchen who is going to win his first cap for the National Team. Yedlin heads straight to the locker room with clapping from US fans.

63' - Panama pushing the attack, but the ball goes out of bounds for a US throw in.

47' - Jermaine Jones clears out a goal kick by Sean Johnson after a Panama shot goes over the goal and out of bounds.

46' - We are hearing that the removal of Altidore was a precaution as he was experiencing some hamstring soreness at the end of the first half.

46' - We are back underway for the second half from Stub Hub Center in Carson, California.

Sean Johnson and Chris Wondolowski are now taking the field. Johnson is earning his fifth cap and seeing the field for the first time simce 2013 Gold Cup.

DeAndre Yedlin is having some issues in the first half, and the commentators are saying that he needs to have a better situational awareness on the defensive side. Nick Rimandhas bailed him out a few times. Klinsmann speaking at halftime said he was very pleased with the performance of Zardes and Ibarra both in the first half.

Jurgen Klinsmann has decided to make two substitutes at halftime.  The first will be the replacement of Nick Rimando with Sean Johnson, and the second will be the replacement of Jozy Altidore with Chris Wondolowski.

My highlight choice from the first half would be the excellent corner kick goal by Michael Bradley. I have seen a lot of goals, but none that have looked that good.

Feel free to tweet me your thoughts, questions, analysis, and you never know, it might be mentionend in the halftime comments here. Just a reminder that my twitter handle is @JasmineS_VAVEL.

It is now halftime, so we will be back momentarily with more coverage. At the end of the first half, Gyasi Zardes and Miguel Ibarra have been running all over and looking great in this first half.

21' - Clint Dempsey with a decent shove inside the box, which could have very well been a yellow card. But, the referee did not see it so the US will have a corner. Dempsey takes it and the defenders are able to clear, though Penedo was close to not getting to save the ball.

20' - A foul called on Panama, even though one could have been called on Jozy Altidore. US takes their chance at a set piece, with Michael Bradley taking it.

1' - Miguel Ibarra and Michael Bradley trying to bring up the attack, but the ball goes out of bounds for a US throw in.

The teams are on the field and we are about ready for kickoff in today's match.

Our match will start momentarily with the televison coverage, but first we are having a moment of silence for Frank Borghi from the 1950 US Men's National Team.

After the loss to Chile last week, Klinsmann had been critical of the fitness for the Men's team and also the lack of true defenders for the roster. This would be why he has decided to play Brek Shea as a defender.

One of the important things to watch today is the defense that Klinsmann has set up as the lineup seems to be more attacking as the US needs to have the mindset of scoring goals while not giving up anything on defense. The formation for today's match can be found here. According to the US Soccer twitter account (@ussoccer) The lineup for the #USAvPAN match today for the U.S. Men's National Team is: "Rimando; Yedlin, Jones, Besler, Bradley, Diskerud; Zardes, Dempsey (c), Ibarra; Altidore."

The United States Men's National Team is winless in their last five matches, however, they are also unbeaten in 19 straight matches at home.  Maybe another good omen?

A bit of preseason news while we wait for our match to start this afternoon. Miguel Ibarra gets his first start for USA, the first NASL player to start for the team in 30 years.  Perry Van der Back of the Tampa Bay Rowdies was the last NASL player to do so and he scored a goal that day.  Perhaps a good omen?

Rimando and the US team will face off against Panama and LA Galaxy goalkeeper Jaime Penedo, who would win his 100th cap for Panama at StubHub Center if he plays. It could be a special occasion for Penedo to earn his 100th cap in the same place where he plays his club football and the same stadium where he won the MLS Cup last season.

LIVE USMNT 2015

The United States Men's National Team are set to have Nick Rimando in goal again today as Brad Guzan is still with Aston Villa on club duty. After Tim Howard announced last season that he was set to take a year-long break from the national team it was unclear as to who would become the new number one in goal. We're getting close to the end of Howard's break, but there will still soon need to be a new number one and neither Rimando nor Guzan have really made the position theirs. So, Rimando's chance today to show what he can do could be crucial for the man who is regarded as one of the best MLS goalkeepers ever.

A number of players earned their first caps during the match with Chile. As is often the case with the January Camp, a number of uncapped players are called in and against Chile defender Steve Birnbaum, Gyasi Zardes, and Wil Trapp all picked up their first international appearance. We could well see more players make their first appearance today as goalkeeper Jon Kempin, defenders Matt Hedges, Shane O'Neill, and midfielders Dillon Serna and Luis Gil are all still looking for their first caps.

Today's friendly is the second and final one that the US will play with this January Camp squad. On January 25th, the squad travelled to Chile for a few days of training and then faced off with the Chilean National Team in a friendly. While the US lost the game 3-2, there were plenty of encouraging signs. Manager Jurgen Klinsmann continued his move towards a 3-5-2 defensive system, and the match saw a goal scored by Jozy Altidore. Altidore struggled mightily in his 18 month long spell with Sunderland in the Barclays Premier League. However, he has made a return to MLS with Toronto FC and he will hope it can reinvigorate his career.

LIVE USA - Panama 2015

The roster today for the United States Men's National Team does not include every regular starter due to the fact that today's match does not fall on an official FIFA fixture date. The Americans today will be without players such as Fabian Johnson, Julian Green, John Brooks, Brad Guzan, Alejandro Bedoya and Timothy Chandler. As such, we will have an MLS-heavy roster. This afternoon's fixture will wrap up the USMNT's traditional January Camp. The January Camp was established due to the different calendar which MLS uses, and it gives the US Soccer brass a chance to notice players they might not normally. Klinsmann used the January Camp two years ago to start using Matt Besler and Omar Gonzalez in the center of defence, and it will be interesting to see which players we may see this afternoon can go on to become USMNT regulars.

Landon Donovan was in fantastic form during that 2013 tournament, and he set up the game's lone goal. However, his play overall on the day was something to behold. He seemed to glide across the pitch that day, and although his assist came off a scuffed shot he was rightly named tournament MVP. The US were worthy 1-0 winners that day, and it is the reason they wear the crown of continental champions.

They received their chance for retribution two years later, after Panama had registered another of their most famous wins. The Panamanians knocked out Mexico in the semifinal stage to set up a meeting with the US in the final. With their traditional rivals knocked out, the United States looked certain to coast to the title. However, manager Jurgen Klinsmann was banned from the touchline for the final for unsporting behavior in their semifinal. So, Chicago's Soldier Field was primed to be the site of another famous encounter between these two sides.

USA - Panama LIVE soccer scores

It seems fitting that we talk about the Gold Cup, because two of the most famous matchups between these two nations took place in the Gold Cup. Back in 2011, Panama registered one of their most famous wins ever, beating the US in the group stage. That night in Tampa is one which will live long in their collective national psyche, and the celebrations of the team on the field that night seemed to anger the American players.

Today’s match is a friendly, but it is also an important match for those who have been selected, as it offers a chance to make their case for inclusion in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The Gold Cup, held biannually, is the North American confederation championship. The US won the competition in 2013, and victory this summer would guarantee them a place at the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia
