After a crazy 4-4 draw at BBVA Compass Stadium in front of over 21, 000 fans, there is so much to talk about that it can't be done adequetely in a single article. Consider this a brief recap with far more to come in the future. Here goes.

The game got off to an ominous start, as Sporting KC scored early. Krisztian Nemeth pounced on a pass from Marcel de Jong in the 2' by sending a strong shot into the upper corner of the box. Star goalkeeper Tyler Deric nearly made a save but couldn't quite get his hand on the ball.

Giles Barnes sent a volley past Sporting KC netminder Luis Marin after the ball bounced around the box. While the goal was nice, a big piece of the work was done by Will Bruin, whose run confounded the defense, leaving Barnes open to take the shot. Bruin would give the Dynamo the lead in stoppage time off a header. Brad Davis set him up for the goal, earning his first of two assists of the night.

Barnes bagged a brace seconds into the second half, finding huge amounts of space about 30 yards out. He sent a low, hard shot past a diving Marin who was completely caught off guard. Sitting comfortably 3-1, the Dynamo controlled the game well for a while. They nearly scored a fourth goal when Barnes made a beautiful run deep into the KC defense. Drawing multiple defenders on him, the Jamaican International elected to go for the hat trick instead of passing to a wide open DaMarcus Beasley.

A minute later, Barnes found himself pressured along the near-side touchline. He failed to pick his head up as he sent a pass back towards Deric that was quickly intercepted by Dom Dwyer. The English striker made no mistake as he got past a diving Deric to slot home an easy goal in the 74th minute.

Things quickly got worse as Jermaine Taylor was whistled for a handball in the box, resulting in his ejection from the match. You can be the judge about whether it was a handball, much less a red card. US International Benny Feilhaber converted the ensuing penalty in the 80th minute to tie the match at 3-3.

Despite being down a man, the Dynamo pressed, looking for the winner. They didn't have to wait long, as Barnes was fouled (many times) along the near-side touchline. Brad Davis whipped in a beautiful cross that found Spanish centerback Raul Rodriguez, who made no mistake in giving the Dynamo a 4 - 3 lead. It was a very special goal for the player, Brad Davis, and for Major League Soccer.

With that assist, Brad Davis moved into sole possession of the #3 spot in MLS's All-Time Assists category, one ahead of legendary playmaker Carlos Valderrama. With 115 assists to his name, Davis will be looking to jump over San Jose Earthquakes assistant coach, and legendary New England Revolution midfielder, Steve Ralston, who recorded 135 assists during his storied career. Legendary player Landon Donovan holds the record with 136.

The Dynamo sat back and absorbed pressure during the first four of six minutes of stoppage time. That in and of itself confused fans, wondering where they got that much time. KC put it to good use, as Feilhaber curled in a goal past Deric to tie the match up about four and a half minutes into stoppage.

The Dynamo will certainly be looking to appeal Taylor's suspension while they move on to hosting in-state rivals FC Dallas next Friday at home. For KC, they return home to face off against red-hot Chicago Fire on Sunday, May 3.
