It has been a great tournament for the host nation Chile. They cruised through the group stages and won their group with ease, including a 5-0 thrashing of Bolivia. Then in the quarterfinal, they faced the cup holders in Uruguay and Mauricio Isla's shot into the bottom right corner in the 83rd minute won the game for the hosts. Now they face a Peru team that will certainly not be as offensive as they were against Bolivia. Expect Chile's attack to be the focal point of their team again. The likes of Alexis Sanchez, Eduardo Vargas, and Arturo Vidal will be the trio that will see the most chances for Chile. But controlling the midfield will be just as important. If Chile can break down Peru early and grab hold of this game in the opening moments, they could cruise into the final.

While Chile cruised in the group stages, Peru had a tougher time. With the likes of Brazil and Colombia in their group, many wondered if Peru would qualify for the knockout stages. But they ended up finish second over Colombia and earned their quarterfinal game versus Bolivia. Their they dominated Bolivia 3-1 and earned their place in the semi-final against Chile. Peru will most likely sit back and will have to absorb Chile's pressure as much as possible. Given the attacking ability of Chile, it could be easy for them to catch Peru off if they do decide to throw everything they have into attacking. Peru must strike on the counterattack. Given that they won't have much possesion during the game, Peru must capitalize on their chances to score. Given that they are underdogs, they must capatilize if Chile slips.

Chile will be huge favorites in this game but Peru can end the hosts magical run to the tournament but it will be tough.
