Match Summary:

Mark Geiger will referee the match between the five-game unbeaten New England Revolution and a struggling Orlando City SC side. The New England Revolution are currently thriving through a four-game win streak while being undefeated in five (fifth place in the Eastern Conference table). On the other hand, Orlando City have not managed three points in any of the previous five, leaving them fighting to stick around for the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Their previous meeting on May 15th ended in a 2-2 draw.

On the Orlando City official website, right back Tyler Turner stated the determination to win despite missing arguably the clubs two most valuable players. “We know what we need to do. We need to go out and get three points. We have been training hard the whole week, and going at it pretty hard. I think come Saturday we are going to be ready and prepared and go after it.

New England Revolution manager Jay Heaps is clearly aware that the match will still be no easy task. “There’s no question in my mind – they’re well-coached – Adrian (Heath) is going to have those guys ready to go,” said Heaps. “I think its two teams that play similarly, and it’s going to be a battle out there.”

Match Facts (WhoScored.com/MLS):

Orlando City have conceded at least four goals in their last four away matches in. New England is undefeated in 22 of their last 23 home matches. Orlando City have lost their last four away matches in.

Diego Fagundez scored the Revolution goal in the Philadelphia victory, his third of the year, becoming the youngest player in MLS history to score 25 regular-season goals, at 20 years and 196 days. He surpassed the mark of Eddie Gaven, who was 20 years and 353 days old when he scored his 25th goal.

Prediction:

Orlando City have not been consistently efficient on the pitch all throughout their inaugural  MLS season. Cyle Larin and Kaka's absence for this fixture because of international duty leaves them desperate for goals and creativity in the attack. Although Jermaine Jones is still a vital player for the Revolution, they could also cope with the injured Darrius Barnes not featuring. Orlando City will struggle to find the net once again.
