On January 24, the Chicago Fire announced the hiring of coaches Logan Pause, Marko Mitrovic, Aleksandar Saric, and Jordan Webb.

Logan Pause

Prior to being appointed as an assistant coach for the Fire, Pause represented the club from 2003-2014. During this spell, he made 337 competitive appearances, placing him second in all-time appearances behind former Fire centerback C.J. Brown (372 app.) During his playing tenure, Pause also captained the side for three seasons, from 2011-2013. Notable achievements include an MLS Fair Play Award in 2012, a Chicago Fire MVP award in 2010, two Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup titles in 2003 and 2006, and an MLS Supporters' Shield team award in 2003.

After retiring in 2014, Pause served as a vice president where he managed the team's commercial interests, relationships with the community, and various academy programs. He currently holds a USSF "A" Coaching License.

Marko Mitrovic

Mitrovic previously worked with head coach Veljko Paunovic with the Serbia U-20 National Team, before joining the Fire as an assistant coach. Before helping lead the Serbia U-20's to the 2015 FIFA Under-20 World Cup title, Mitrovic enjoyed a 14-year professional career playing for teams such as Red Star Belgrade, FK Buducnost Banatski Dvor, and Olimpik Baku - now known as AZAL PFK.

Mitrovic most notably coached the U-16 Red Star Belgrade side that finished first in their division for the 2013-2014 season, as well as an assistant role for the previously mentioned World Cup title with the Serbia U-20's. He currently holds an UEFA "A" Coaching License

Aleksandar Saric

Before being appointed as the Fire's goalkeeping coach, Saric played professionally for 24 years, with stints in Serbia, Germany, Israel, Romania, Slovakia, and Austria. Saric also served as goalkeeping coach to the Serbia U-20 team that won the 2015 World Cup. He holds an UEFA "A" Coaching License.

Jordan Webb

Appointed as strength and conditioning coach, Webb previously worked at EXOS for two years, where he served elite athletes as an analyst and performance specialist. Webb also has a background in soccer, which includes a collegiate career at Missouri Valley College, in Marshall, Missouri, which competes in the NAIA division of college sports. Along with his playing career, Webb has worked with the Seattle Sounders organization, as well as the U.S. Soccer Federation. He holds a USSF "D" Coaching License.
