On September 12, Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks pitched a near no hitter against division foe and rival the St Louis Cardinals. The no hitter was broken up by a Jeremy Hazelbaker homer in the bottom of the ninth. No hitter or not, the 26 year old from Newport Beach, California is making a name for himself.
