HTC Hints New Flagship Android Handset Coming September 6
With HTC seemingly ready to move past the One M9, we are likely to see a new flagship unveiled on Sunday at IFA.

The HTC One M9, while still a great-looking phone with an almost impeccable design, was simply too underwhelming an upgrade over the M8 that came before it, and it seems HTC is taking note of that.

The company posted a picture of a recently-rumored and highly-anticipated new handset, hinting at a September 6 announcement. Instead of waiting until the spring arrives to unveil a new flagship phone, the struggling company is likely to drop their latest and greatest on Sunday at Berlin's IFA 2015.

In recent months, the HTC Aero or HTC One A9 has been leaked and consistently rumored, and it is expected to finally arrive on Sunday, September 6 - and perhaps with some notable specs.

The alleged specs of the phone include an Helio X20 processor which runs on 10 cores, 4GB of RAM, a much improved rear shooter with support for RAM photography and either a QHD (2560 x 1440) or Full HD (1920 x 1080) quality display.

Just weeks ago, CEO Cher Wang stated that HTC is preparing for an October launch of a 'hero phone', which is likely exactly the phone that has been rumored and leaked and that we're talking about here.

With Samsung's latest smartphones, the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus being announced a month ago, this long-awaited handset from HTC could be the major smartphone model that was previously expected to be absent from the IFA 2015 event.
