"Bam What!"

Liv and Maddie (created by the duo of John D. Beck and Ron Hart), which stars the multi-talented Dove Cameron as identical twins with very different personalities, concluded its second season on Disney Channel this evening with "Champ-a-Rooney" and it was unlike any episode before due to three words: "To Be Continued."

Heading into Sunday night, the big question on everyone's mind was whether Maddie (Dove Cameron) and Diggie (Ryan McCartan) would rekindle their boyfriend/girlfriend relationship prior to the latter leaving or not leaving for Australia. But, as Joey (Joey Bragg) searches for a missing rabbit in the girls' locker room during the Ridgewood High Fighting Porcupines girl's basketball team celebratory rally (won the Wisconsin state championship), he traps himself and Maddie with time ticking before Diggie has to leave for the airport.

Even with Liv (Dove Cameron) swapping places with her sister at the victory ceremony and Willow (Jessica Marie Garcia) moving two sets of lockers that originally blocked the exit, no one learned the fate of the couple thanks to the show pulling a "Back to the Future" finish (To Be Continued) as Maddie rushes to the "Paulie the Porcupine" statue with the hope that Diggy is still waiting for her.

So to quote Parker Rooney (Tenzing Norgay Trainor), "we got cliffhangered," meaning fans all across the nation will be wondering for the next three weeks what the future holds for "Miggie."

Did Maddie connect with Diggie prior to his departure? Will the on-screen romance of Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan continue like it does off-set?

Find out at 9:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on September 13 as Liv and Maddie returns for another season of great music, family comedy, and sister trouble (Season 3) with not one, but two brand new episodes that will definitely make you yell "Bam What!"
