How can Disney Channel's original movie Invisible Sister be described?

How about "awesome city, totally the bomb!"

Invisible Sister, featuring Girl Meets World star Rowan Blanchard and Mighty Med's Paris Berlec as sisters, opens up in a high school, where the audience clearly sees that Cleo (Blanchard) and Molly (Berlec) are truly opposites of one another. More specifically, Cleo is a very smart outcast while Molly is the most popular girl in school and the lacrosse star.

"So how does Molly become invisible?"

Spurred by Mr. Perkins (Alex Désert) forcing Cleo to take on a very complicated science experiment (for half of her grade in the class), she attempts to turn a very dense chemical into crystals. Yet, as she is mixing the substances, a moth flies above the fumes, resulting in it to gradually start to disappear. Stunned by what was transpiring, Cleo traps the insect, which is flickering with transparency, in a jar. Unfortunately for her, the moth eventually escapes due to Cleo dropping the container in an action of complete shock.

Fast forwarding to later in the evening, Molly fills a cup with water and drops antacid tablets into the liquid. What is the significance? Prior to drinking it, the invisible moth dissolves into her cup.

The following morning, Cleo wakes up to the scream of her sister and runs towards the commotion to find no one. After Cleo understands that her sister is now invisible, Molly remembers that her big lacrosse game is that day.

How would she go to school? More importantly, how would she play in her contest?!

Thanks to the date being Halloween, Cleo was able to dress up as "Mardi Gras Dorothy" (Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz with a mask over her face), which helped greatly with her being perceived as Molly. Obstacle one: cleared!

Though, how would Cleo, who had never played lacrosse in her life, be able to impress college scouts in attendance?

With a great deal of help from Molly physically taking out opponents, Cleo was not only able to keep her team in the game heading into the final minute but send them to victory with the game winning goal (which she scored with no help from Molly)!

Nevertheless the positives of the day, time to save Molly from being invisible permanently was slowly ticking away.

To find out whether Cleo was able to find an antidote to make Molly visible, tune into Disney Channel October 10 at 11:00 AM EST for the complete showing of Invisible Sister.

Review:
In addition to being quite entertaining, Invisible Sister portrayed a great message for children of all ages. With the quote "We become visible when we are not afraid to show the world who we really are." from Rowan Blanchard's character Cleo, the viewer understands that being genuine, instead of fake, is always the best option. Furthermore, this writer believes the gradual rekindling of Cleo and Molly's relationship was a beautiful storyline in the plot that should not be overlooked.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars!
