The first match of the day happened on Court Cascais and it was the first and the last match of the day to be played on that court regarding that the court had some problems again. This match happened between Kyle Edmund and Daniel Gimeno-Traver with the British player prevailing in two sets 6-3, 7-5 at the end of almost an hour and a half.
