IG really played a solid two games in this series and now face off into a best of 5 against Edward Gaming! Unfortunately I won't be able to cover that series but thank you for all tuning in with me as we saw some great play out of Edward Gaming in the first match as well as great play from Invictus Gaming.

IG sweeps up an ACE out of QG and it looks like Invictus Gaming will win the game! Invictus Gaming will be playing EDG in the finals!

IG look to take the mid inhibitor now! What a snowball effect IG is now 12K gold in the lead.

IG gets another three kills and push toplane with a 9K gold lead now! IG working on inhibiter turret but it goes down! IG get the inhib and are moving to mid-lane.

Kid gets a quadra kill on gangplank! Rookie gets the ace to finish off the fight and IG gets the tier-2 turret and now are leading this second match 5K gold. Kogmauw is at 4 items now and Gangplank is getting heated up.

Baron secured by IG. This baron buff is big for this scaling comp.

V gets a solo kill onto Zz1tai and now QG can attempt a move into a fight but IG goes in and catches onto Alistar and they get a kill and are attempting baron.

IG get a kill in botlane as well as a tower but do trade a tier-1 tower in toplane to do so.

QG get two kills after a TP botlane gets a pick for them. This small advantage is exactly what QG needed at this point in the game.

Score is tied 6-6 in kills but IG take a 2K gold lead.

Kid gets a kill onto Kaugmaw after a successful dive in botlane.

IG gets a 2-1 trade in kills and now claim a small gold lead at 10 minutes.

V grabs first blood onto Fizz, and then Doinb gets a kill for Nautilus.

Standard lanes for both teams. V gets red buff to start on Fizz and causes Zz1tai to flash.

QG top lane Fizz, Jungle Elise, Mid Nautilus, ADC Ashe, Support Alistar.

IG top lane Gangplank, Jungle Gragas, Mid Yasuo, ADC Kaugmaw, Support Braum.

IG grabs Kaugmaw and Yasuo as their final picks. QG grabs Nautilus.

IG grabs Gragas and Braum with their second and third picks. QG grabs Alistar and Fizz.

IG takes Gangplank with their first pick. QG grabs Elise and Ashe.

Red side QG Bans: Fiora, Kalista, Twisted Fate

Blue side IG Bans: Azir, Lulu, Nidalee

A few questions arise now for QG. Do they ban Fiora? And if they do ban Fiora, will that leave Kalista, Yasuo, or Twisted Fate up? It seems as if it's pick your poison right now for QG.

Kakao takes dragon number 5 and try to fight and Zz1tai  teleports mid to take the Nexus! IG takes the win on the red side! Wow. What great action. Even with 5 dragons QG's teamfighting was close but now IG is moving to blue side which is their better side and QG is not as strong on red side.

4 members of IG go down but Zz1tai takes bot inhib.

IG  takes mid inhib and threaten to take bot if QG doesn't handle Zza1tai.

QG gets dragon but gets locked into dragon pit! IG takes out 4 members out of QG and now head to take Baron number 2 instead of inhib.

We're now at 45 total kills in 38 minutes between the teams. Zza1tai is sitting on an 11/5/7 score on his Fiora.

IG doesn't take inhib but they have exposed it and have made it available to take and possibly win the game if they come out on top in a team fight.

IG takes Dragon number 4 and a great Leona ult secures 3 members of QGIG is snowballing this game now with 5K gold lead! Baron buff minions from Kakao and IG can likely take Inhib.

QG tries to take dragon but Kakao steals Baron as well as gets 2 kills! Rookie jumped in to do so much damage that really change the momentum in the baron pit.

IG steals dragon from QG and snowball that into a fight that results in an ACE. IG have flipped this game around quickly.

IG try to Ashe ult onto Tristana but did not have the follow-up damage to get him. 11-11 kills, QG up 2.5K gold.

IG take Dragon number 2 and pick up a kill. Rookie's 3/0/4 is impressive on Ekko and could be crucial coming up in these mid game fights.

IG take mid tier-1 turret and are setting up dragon pressure. Dragon is up in 1 minute.

TnT's tristana is now 5/1/0 and had his Infinity Edge, Zeal, and Berserker's grieves completed compared to Kid's 0/3/2 score only having an I.E. and Avarice blade.

IG takes bottom tier-1, right as QG takes top tier-1. 9-9 kills and QG still holds a 2K gold lead at 17 mins 30 seconds.

IG grabbed dragon but QG collapsed on them really well and split out Rookie's Ekko from the fight.

A triple kill for TnT's tristana gives way for QG to take the tier 1 and tier 2 mid turret! QG is up 2.3K gold at 15 minutes.

TnT takes the first tower for QG as they get the bottom tier-1 turret.

A fight over red buff gave 2 kills towards IG! Zztai looking a lot better posting a 4/3/2 score currently. Swift and V both have 2 kills as well as TnT.

Both Kakao and Swift went top lane and traded kills. Rookie got a kill in a 1v1 situation on Ekko, and TnT snagged a kill on tristana. 5-5 in kills at 8 minutes!

Swift goes top again and gets a second kill against Zz1tai's fiora. 2-1 kill lead for QG

First blood goes to QG and V on his Fizz! Swift ganked top lane and even though he was seen the gank was still successful.

Standard start from each team, V is helping Swift jungle by having his Fizz leash his red and golems.

Summoner's are on the rift!

IG will run Fiora top lane, Gragas jungle, Ekko mid, Ashe ADC, and Leona support.

QG will have Fizz top lane, Elise jungle, Viktor mid, Tristana ADC, and Braum support.

The last two picks for QG are Tristana and Fizz. IG will finish their team comp with Leona.

IG's next two picks will be Ekko and Ashe.

QG's second two picks include Viktor and Braum.

QG first pick Elise, and IG pick Fiora and Gragas.

Red side IG Bans: Nidalee, Azir, Lulu

Blue side QG Bans: Yasuo, Twisted Fate, Kalista

It's time. Match 1 Pick and Ban phase coming up for QG and IG

As far as prediction goes, I’d give the edge to Invictus Gaming. I do think both teams have the potential to beat Snake and/or EDG, but I think Invictus has the edge tonight but Qiao Gu is a deadly team and ready for the challenge.

Tonight’s matchup should be a lot of fun. Both teams have the ability to make it to worlds through this gauntlet, and both have unique personalities to them.

A few things to note, are the patch changes. We now have changed from 5.15 to 5.16. It wasn’t a crazy change, though it could make a bit of an impact. Rumble was altered slightly,to where his ultimate ability now costs more. Viktor, a big champion in Korea and China, was given a tiny re-work. According to Riot,”Hex Core gives less AP when purchased, but more at level 18. All mana has been shifted from flat to per-level.”

Invictus Gaming did feature a win over the surprisingly struggling Edward Gaming in the summer playoffs. The match did not actually determine worlds qualifying, but it was a huge confidence boost for Invictus that I’m sure are taking it well into tonight.

Invictus Gaming come wrapped in inconsistency all season. At times they look dominant, other times, not so much. They feature two ex-players of KT Rolster Arrows: jungler KaKAO and mid laner Roo Kie.

Qiao Gu comes into this matchup with a great history behind them. They’re considered to be one of the best team-fighting teams in the world. their jungler, Swift, comes from CJ Entus Frost and is known to be a boom or bust type of jungler. He’ll go for big plays and big risks that equal higher reward.

This mini-tournament is double-elimination. The four teams total include Edward Gaming, Snake eSports, Qiao Gu, and Invictus Gaming.

Hello everyone, my name is Mitchell Evans and I will be covering an intense matchup tonight of League of Legends. Tonight, or this morning for some, Qiao Gu and Invictus Gaming face off in a first-round playoff matchup for the LPL Chinese league. Winner of this mini-tournament will go onto Worlds.
