Echo Fox back into LCS, NRG relegated
Riot Games

Rick Fox will be proud. After a really rough Summer LCS, Echo Fox 3-0 swept NRG to keep their team in the LCS for Spring of 2017.

Veteran Presence

One thing that was evident in this matchup was the veteran presence of Froggen. Not only being the shot-caller, Froggen's been in big moments before so the pressure doesn't phase him. This showed greatly as Froggen dominated his lane in the contests.

Game 1 featured an incredible game from Echo Fox Keith, who finished with a 6-0-1 score on Lucian. The match lasted a decent 41 minutes in the FOX victory. In game 2, Froggen had one of his typical Anivia games, where he didn't die, finishing with a 3-0-9 score. In game 3, Froggen finished 6-0-6 on Viktor.

"I thought it would be a closer series because we got 3-0'd by Phoenix1, so I thought this would be closer," said Echo Fox Keith.

"They had some really good drafts against us during the regular season, so we needed to correct that," said Froggen.

We won't be seeing Echo Fox until 2017, and who knows what roster changes will occur but this team is in a bright spot as Keith is a young star, Froggen is a big veteran presence whether he plays next split or coaches of some sort, so Echo Fox will definitely be back into the swing of the LCS.

"I learned my lesson to not make predictions, as I though we'd make playoffs this year and we didn't, so I'm not going to make any predictions, we'll go into it as best we can."

Below are the 10 teams scheduled to be in the 2017 LCS.

A lot of the normal teams will be in there. One thing to note, the Cloud 9 challenger team will be in the Spring spit, led by Lemon Nation. We still have Worlds to get through (thankfully) and IEM but things are looking exciting for next split.
