Ken Anderson, better known as Mr. Anderson with Impact Wrestling was the first choice for the Hornswoggle spot in the 2007 storyline where Hornswoggle turned out to be Vince McMahon illegitimate son.

The original plan was for Vince McMahon to be killed off. They shot a whole scene where his limo blew up immediately after stepping into it. That of course was kayfabe, or in other words fake. The next steps were for an investigation to take place and the person who killed Vince was going to be revealed as his wife Linda.

After Linda would be arrested live on RAW for the kayfabe murder of her husband, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were going to appear on screen and finally admit they are now husband and wife. Triple H was going to feud with Anderson at the time, and the story was going to culminate in the main event at that year's WrestleMania.

Triple H was to win the main event and then Vince was to return and say he faked his death so he could pass the company over to his true son. The story never came about because soon after the kayfabe death of Mr. McMahon, Chris Benoit actually died (he murdered his wife and son). In addition to that Ken Anderson violated the WWE wellness policy. These two events led to the story line being dropped and Ken Anderson’s eventual release from the company.

The WWE really hasn't be the same since the Chris Benoit situation and Mr. Anderson's WWE career was never the same since he was scheduled to win the World Championship several times during his tenure but never was able to due to off screen problems.

He is now with TNA Impact Wrestling, where he is already a former world champion and was apart of one of the greatest and most entertaining factions (Aces & Eights) since the days of NWO and the original Degeneration-X.
