Former WWE Tough Enough fan favorite Patrick Clark made his NXT Live Event debut in Lakeland, Florida. The live event was mainly made up of additional NXT Talent such as Tino Sabbatelli and Hugo Knox, who have been signed from outside of Professional Wrestling.

The NXT TV crew is on tour in the North of America with other talent such as Enzo Amore, Colin Cassady and Carmella taking part in the current WWE RAW main roster tour on the West Coast.

Clark lost in his match against Riddick Moss but reports say he looked very comfortable in ring and showed a lot of potential for the future. Clark has been on the independent circuit since 2014 and joined the cast of Tough Enough last year.

The match against Moss went for around four minutes with the debuting Clark getting a number of moves in and impressing the crowd. Many of those in attendance noted that Clark looked like “he belonged there.”

He was the fifth competitor eliminated from Tough Enough but was offered a WWE Development contract for his efforts.  He reportedly signed his deal in October and proceeded to the WWE Performance Centre later in the month. He had been spotted in a number of photos at the Performance Centre during the All Access fan tours.

Clark was signed alongside eventual Tough Enough winners Josh and Sara Lee. WWE also signed a number of competitors such as ZZ, Mada, Amanda and Daria. Amanda has already been given a new WWE name, Mandy Rose, and has made her debut on the WWE show Total Divas.
