Daniel Bryan's retirement speech was the ending to a Monday Night Raw that saw the former World Heavyweight Champion well up with tears in front of his home state crowd.

The 34-year-old has been forced to retire from the sport due to concussion issues and his follow up speech captivated the fans in what could be one of the most emotional events to occur in WWE in recent years.

One fan however saw this heartfelt speech as a chance to seek his 15 seconds of fame, but his world came tumbling down when three members of security ushered him out quickly.

The Crowd Fell Silent

A legacy forever lasting but a wrestling career cut short, Bryan's speech covered everything from his father's unfortunate passing to meeting the love of his Brie Bella

One fan seemingly untouched by his obviously real tears felt compelled to begin a disrespectful chant consisting of "na, na, na, na, hey, hey, hey, goodbye" during the time the "whole place went silent while he was going over his gratitude."

The lack of empathy for the speech from the fan was a rare occasion given the huge pop he received upon his entrance to the ring. A series of "Yes" chants followed before he revealed the true extent of why he was retiring from WWE.

The impolite fan was reportedly "screaming the tune the top of his lungs" before "three security guys" proceeded to "rush" and "pull him out of our row" he was said to be "out of there quick."

Ruining the retirement speech of a man who has sacrificed so much to the sport he was paying money to watch was rather baffling and considering how beloved Bryan is with the WWE Universe it is no wonder no one joined in.

Crowd Involvement WWE

The fan base of World Wrestling Entertainment can be a huge positive for Vince McMahon and company in most cases anyway, the atmosphere they produce for each show is part of the reason the product has been able to stay around for so long.

Fans are an important part of any business as they pay the foundation costs of the shows and keep the superstars in a job, but the WWE Universe are having more and more effect on shows lately - for the wrong reasons.

Firstly, the Daniel Bryan chanting, although dealt with hastily, any pick up by a number of fans could have resulted in disaster and would have ruined the sentiment behind his speech. This is just the latest in a host of fan involvment which have created a huge talking point post show.

The Rock's segment two weeks ago caused outburst from fans when it featured a number of fans dressed as legendary wrestlers speaking with 'the great one' as he made a special appearance. Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage were just two of the featured wrestlers; the dressed up fans were reportedly 'asked to move' following backstage fears that they were 'distracting the crowd', they were already described as rowdy and drunk by other fans in attendance.

Roman Reigns was attacked with a replica 'Money in the Bank' briefcase when it was thrown towards the superstar during a WWE Live event in August 2015. The 30-year-old said the ordeal was "scary" and could not "process" why someone would attack a sports entertainer for "10 seconds of internet fame."

A fan walked alongside Seth Rollins when he was making his way to the ring in September 2015. The fact that the fan was able to get so close to the then World Heavyweight Champion is a scary thought as the man who was luckily not armed with a weapon, could have assaulted the 29-year-old if he wished so.

There have been many incidents, but it seems as if the WWE Universe are becoming the focus of more and more negative fan events. It is these unfavorable actions that are raising concerns, and the Daniel Bryan episode is just the latest of an underlying narrative that is creating tension for corporate backstage.
