The opening match of Battleground saw Sasha Banks reveal her mystery tag team partner, Bayley, to a thunderous reaction from the WWE Universe who exploded with joy at seeing the NXT star on the main roster. The two best friends then went on to win an entertaining opening match which saw the crowd fully invested from bell to bell, but whilst the moment was enjoyable it ultimately left more questions than answers.

Now fans have been left wondering whether or not the former NXT Women's Champion will be on the main roster full time, what brand she will appear on and the question of why she wasn't drafted after being made to appear such a huge deal is even more confusing. But it was JBL who seemed to provide the most answers by claiming the deal was a "One night only" kind and that Bayley wouldn't be joining the main roster, so what does the company have planned for her?

WWE's plans

Well, it seems that JBL was correct as according to reports on NoDQ.com Bayley won't be joining the main roster just yet, something that is sure to frustrate the majority of fans who now want to see her full time.

It is expected that Bayley now won't make her full-time main roster move until after SummerSlam as the company want to keep her in NXT to build her match with Asuka and the WWE will likely build a match between Banks and Charlotte for SummerSlam and not having Bayley around will allow all the focus to be on that match.

When she does eventually debut it is currently unknown which brand she will appear on, it would make the most sense for her to go to SmackDown as that roster has considerably less female talent and with Raw boasting both Banks and Charlotte it would even out the star power between the shows.
