One of the highlights of SummerSlam was once again two of the stars of the WWE Women's Division.

Sasha Banks and Charlotte showed their great chemistry in the squared circle once again and had a phenomenal match in front of the 15,000+ fans at the Barclays Center.

The Nature Girl defeated The Boss clean to pick up her second WWE Women's Championship sparking speculation that an injury was sustained during the match.

The real reason

Following their battle Banks was removed from all WWE events for the next 30-days with rumors circulating that she was the next violator of the Wellness Policy.

Although luckily that is not believed to be the case as the 24-year-old who won the title on Monday Night Raw's first New Era show was working injured after picking up an injury a couple of weeks ago.

Charlotte was made a heavy favorite to claim her second title just days before her match while before that Banks was picked to retain by the betting shops.

During their bout, the challenger seemed to botch a move from the top rope as the champion's head landed awkwardly on the mat which would have in no way helped her current injury.

On the injury itself, the company has given no indication as to the full extent or to what it actually is but it required time off for the performer to recuperate.

McMahon on Banks

As reported a couple of months ago, Mr. McMahon was critical of Banks' in-ring ability believing that she is too "all out."

The veteran must have had a crystal ball as he said the pint-sized performer has just one-speed in the ring.

McMahon thought the same about Daniel Bryan who eventually picked up an injury that halted his wrestling career.

Hopefully Banks is not headed for a similar fate as she is one of the faces of the Women's Division but after picking up a number of injuries in the past two years she may need to tone it down just a bit.
