Bayley, since her debut in developmental in January 2013, has been one of the most beloved figures in the WWE Universe,  with her happy and cheery personality resonating with the crowd.

After making the leap from NXT to Monday Night Raw this past week, there were reservations regarding whether Vince McMahon would be in favor of the performer, given his reactions to other superstars who have came from NXT.

Tyler Breeze has suffered big time since his move up as have a number of others, but creative felt Bayley was a star and judging by the reaction she was met with, the crowd thinks so to.

Mr McMahon on Bayley's reaction

The instant pop that followed after the 27-year-old's music hit was one of the highlights of last week's show at the Barclays Center, following what was a mainly negative SummerSlam pay-per-view.

Thankfully Vinnie Mac was as caught up in the moment as the crowd were and was very pleased by the reaction the former NXT star received.

The veteran was also impressed with her debut match against Dana Brooke and likened her to former WWE Diva's Champion AJ Lee.

As reported last month, Mr McMahon is not a huge fan of Charlotte's prodigy but felt she did well against the newest addition to the Raw roster, making her debut that much more impressive.

Bayley was unfortunate in her rematch against Asuka at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn, but given the push she is likely to receive on the main roster, she probably won't be too hard on herself.

Unplanned

One of the strangest things about the performer's debut was that she was not expected to be making her first appearance until a number of weeks later.

Bayley has been predicted to make her debut for a long time and was due to soon, but the injury to former Women's Champion Sasha Banks forced creative's hand.

With Charlotte lacking in a rival, Bayley was brought up to the main roster early while The Legit Boss takes some time off to recover from her injuries.

Banks' injuries are not believed to be that serious and she is expected to be back within 30-days after her evaluation went well.
