The exit of the Dudley Boyz was a surprise to most, whilst they hadn't been used in the way they should have most had expected them to simply continue doing what they were for some time. However, after leaving the company both men have appeared on the independent circuit but neither has confirmed what they plan on doing long-term, but according to reports on NoDQ.com, their futures may not be with each other.

Going separate ways?

According to the report, both men will continue to work the independent scene for now, but they are open to working as individuals rather than as a tag team. Bubba Ray is more open to working on his own, likely returning to his Bully Ray character and could find himself back in TNA where he had his most success as a solo act.

Bubba teased the idea of returning to the Impact Zone at the most recent House of Hardcore event where he cut a promo on TNA star, Broken Matt. Bubba asked Hardy, "How would you like for me to show up at the Impact Zone?” Before going on to say, “I’ve burned that place to the ground once, and I’d do it again. I already put your boss through a table, and don’t think I wouldn’t do the same thing to your wife and your son."

TNA have recently been putting out some of their best content in years and have just added Cody Rhodes to their roster, so bringing back Bubba as Bully Ray would be a popular move amongst TNA fans.

On the other hand, Devon Dudley is reportedly going to be staying with WWE in some capacity, with rumors stating that he will be taking up an agent role within the performance center.

The tag team will continue working together in some form as they are both still running their popular training school called Team 3D Wrestling Academy.
