In ring segment-

Raw kicks off tonight with the vivacious Stephanie McMahon making her way down the ramp. She is clearly feeling better since her stomach issues last week on Raw. Steph says she can’t stand for gross negligence (pun intended?). Steph calls out Vickie Guerrero and Vickie narcs on Roman Reigns for putting something in Steph’s coffee. Steph tells Vickie she has been riding the coattails of her late husband Eddie Guerrero (ouch) for long enough. Before Steph can fire Vickie, Vickie says she will beg to keep her job. Vickie gets on her knees and begs. Steph says Vickie can keep her job if she wins her match tonight. Who will Vickie face? Stephanie McMahon! Steph tells Vickie she doesn’t have the guts to face her. Vickie tells Steph there is one name in the wrestling business that is more respected than McMahon… and that's Guerrero! She accepts Steph’s challenge.

Great opening segment. Will this lead to a run in by the recently unemployed Brie Bella? The possibilities are endless here.

Singles Match: Jimmy Uso w/Jey Uso vs. Luke Harper w/Eric Rowen-

Harper starts off with a huge drop kick on Jimmy. Jimmy responded with an enziguri which leads to a two count. Rowen distracts Jimmy from the outside and Harper hits his spinning Lariat for the win. Wow that was a quick match

Jey Uso defeated Eric Rowen via pin fall.

After the match the Wyatt Family lays waste to the Usos. They celebrate with the tag titles in the ring. What an ominous sight.

Bray Wyatt appears on the Titantron to tell us he will be the next champion. As good as Wyatt is, this writer can’t help but think less is more. He may get too much mic time at this point. That’s an easy way to make a great character become stale.

Rusev and Lana take a few moments to run down the white house and Barack Obama. Talk about an easy target. Prediction time: Rusev beats up Sgt. Slaughter. John Cena makes the save. Thus begins the inevitable Rusev vs. Cena Feud. Why are they acting as if that’s not what is going to happen? Let’s just get it over with.

Divas Match: Naomi w/ Cameron vs. Alicia Fox-

Divas champ Paige is out for commentary. Not clear on this, but is this a number one contenders match? Cameron joins Paige at the desk. Cameron is running down Naomi and Paige. Not sure what is happening here. Naomi is currently giving Alicia the business. Naomi hits the ropes and runs right into a spinning back breaker. As Alicia dumps Naomi out of the ring, Cameron goes on a rant about how she is tired of being told she is riding Naomi’s coattails. Naomi gets the win after hitting the Christian special (reverse ddt).

Naomi defeated Alicia Fox via pin fall.

After the match Naomi and Paige shake hands.

Singles Match: Titus O’Neil vs. Bo Dallas-

Hmmm another confusing match. Why are two heels fighting each other? O’Neil is destroying Bo. O’Neil trips and runs right into the running Bo-Dog.

Bo Dallas defeated Titus O’Neil via pin fall.

Wow. Who did Titus O’Neil piss off?

In Ring Segment-

HHH makes his way to the ring. He is here to announce who will be in the second ladder match. HHH reiterates that Seth Rollins will be the first entrant. He will be joined by Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler, Rob Van Dam, and Bad News Barrett.  HHH says there is one man who will win this. Seth Rollins. Does anyone else think Rollins new ring gear and music is terrible? My fiancé who only casually lookes wrestling just took one look at Rollins and asked if he is on his way to go fishing. Her words: “Why does he need waterproof pants?” Good question. Good… Question.

Rollins says he will win the match Sunday. RVD comes out and they trade barbs. RVD challenges Rollins to a match. Rollins accepts.

Singles Match: RVD vs. Seth Rollins-

RVD starts off hot. Hitting a monkey flip and the RVD special on the outside of the ring. After a short commercial break Rollins hits a triple vertical suplex on RVD. RVD follows that up with a spin kick and Rolling Thunder. RVD goes up top for the Five Star, but Rollins moves out of the way. Rollins mounts RVD and lands some huge cross face strikes. Rollins hits the corner power bomb and the Curb Stomp. Before Rollins can get the pin, Dean Ambrose comes through the crowd and beats the crap out of Rollins.

RVD defeated Rollins via DQ.

Ambrose says they need to put him in the ladder match or he will show up in Boston, beat Rollins' face in, and climb the ladder and take down the contract anyway!

Ambrose is nuts… and it’s awesome!

After the match, Rollins asks HHH to put Ambrose in the match so he can keep his eyes on him during the match. HHH tells him if this blows up in his face, it’s on him.

Intercontinental Title Match: Bad News Barrett (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler-

Barrett starts off pounding on Ziggler, but Ziggler sticks him with a drop kick. Barrett tosses Dolph to the outside. Barrett sends Ziggler into the ropes but Ziggler hits him with a high cross body. Ziggler goes for the famasser, but Barrett reverse and hits the Winds of Change for a two count. Ziggler reverses Barrett’s Wasteland attempt into the Zig Zag. Ziggler can’t make the cover. He is writhing in pain, holding his shoulder. Barrett rolls out of the ring to avoid getting pinned.

After a short break, Ziggler is in the middle of hitting what seemed like 247 elbow drops on Barrett.  Ziggler hits the top rope X-Factor, but Barrett kicks out at two! What a match so far! Barrett hits Wasteland! Ziggler kicks out at two! wow! Barrett sets up the Bull Hammer, but Ziggler ducks and hits the Famasser! Barrett kicks out again! Ziggler sets Barrett up in the corner for the Stinger Splash. Barrett hits Ziggler with the Bull Hammer mid-air! Looks like Ziggler lost a tooth on that one.

BNB defeated Dolph Ziggler via pin fall.

Divas Match: Vickie Guerrero (complete with Eddie Guerrero entrance music!) vs. Stephanie McMahon-

Steph walks out and she still has on her sexy a$$ dress from earlier. Steph says their match will take place here- she points to a pool of what looks like crap near the ramp. First person to get dumped in it loses. Steph sicks Rosa, Alicia and Layla on Vickie. They pick Vickie up, but Vickie manages to throw all three of them into the pool. Steph runs behind her and hits a high knee to her back, sending her face first into the pool. Steph fires Vickie and sings “Na nan a na hey hey hey good by”. Vickie grabs her by the dress and tosses her into the pool of grossness! Great way to end your run, Vickie! Best of luck!

Stephanie McMahon defeated Vickie Guerrero via… via… err… not sure what to call it.

Singles Match: Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger w/ Zeb Colter-

Swagger beats Kofi after the Patriot Lock.

Jack Swagger defeats Kofi Kingston via submission.

Damien Sandow is in the ring. Man this is sad to look. He is dressed like Abe Lincoln. Before he can say anything else, Big E. makes his way to the ring.

Singles Match: Big E. vs. Damien Sandow-

Let’s call this the battle of the forgotten superstar. Both of these guys should be in the MITB contract ladder match. This shouldn’t be surprising, but Big E. gets the win after the Big Ending.

Big E. defeated Damien Sandow.

After the match, Big E. does his best “Preachers of LA” impressions” Seriously, Goggle it. Lana coms out and calls Big E. a jive turkey, well at least that’s how I remember it. Rusev continues his streak of attacking black men as he attacks Big E. from behind.

4 on 3 handicap match: John Cena, Sheamus, and Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt, Alberto Del Rio, Cesaro, and Randy Orton-

Even money says this match ends with in a no-contest. Cena and Orton start off. They trade headlocks and shoulder tackles. It ends in a stalemate. Sheamus tags in and wears down Orton before tagging Cena back in. Cena telegraphs a back drop and is met with a swift kick to the face by Orton. A match like this is a good way to build up a to a main event match at a ppv. Everyone will get a chance to shine. Matches like this are supposed to build intrigue in the ppv. Simply put, if these superstars are able to destroy each other in a regular match what will they do if ladders are involved?

Cesaro tags himself in and sets up the Cesaro Swing. Much to the crowds chagrin, Cesaro turns it into a Boston Crab. Cena gets to the ropes and tags in Reigns. Reigns destroys, everyone! He hits his running kick to Del Rio on the outside, and Superman punches Cesaro and Orton! Before Reigns can go for a pin, Bray levels him. The crowd went nuts when Reigns tagged in. The crowd loves Reigns.

Bray takes too long to attack and gets knocked out cold by a Superman punch! Cesaro tags himself in and Reigns tags in Sheamus! Everything breaks down! Cena runs in and hits the AA on Orton! Del Rio kick the crap out of Cena and tries to set up the Cross arm Breaker, but Cena reverses it and crushes Del Rio with the AA! Cesaro runs in and tosses Cena high in the air and almost takes his head off with the Swiss Death Uppercut. Sheamus comes out of nowhere and knocks Cesaro’s head off with the Brogue kick for the win! What an ending!

John Cena, Sheamus and Roman Reigns defeated Alberto Del Rio, Bray Wyatt, Cesaro, and Randy Orton via pin fall.

After the match Kane comes out and destroys everyone who is still standing. HHH appears on the stage and informs everyone that the final participant in the WWE title ladder match is Kane! Kane sets the turnbuckles ablaze, but Reigns rolls into the ring and Spears Kane! Reigns stands tall in the ring while Raw goes off the air. Will Reigns be standing tall at the end of the Money in the Bank ppv? Will the addition of Kane mean the Authority will have their corporate champion at the end of the ppv? Check out our predictions for the 2014 Money in the Bank ppv here.
