The man of he match for the game is Lendl Simmons for his brilliant innings of 82 not out which is well deserved. The West Indies will now go on to face England on Sunday in the final in Kolkata in what looks like being a superb final.
Well what a run chase that was from the West Indies. What an innings by Lendl Simmons as he finishes 82 not out of 51 balls. Russell finished the game with a quick fire 43 not out. India are devastated after setting such a big score of 192. Kohli was magnificent with his 89 not out but in the end brutal hitting from the West Indies saw them through by seven wickets.

Overs 17: WI 161-3 10 runs come from Nehra's final over. Russell smashed a six in the over to keep up the West Indies momentum. West Indies require 32 to win from three overs.

Overs 16: WI 151-3 Simmons is playing a masterclass of a innings as he hits a four and a massive six from the over. West Indies get 13 runs from the over. West Indies now require 42 to win from four overs. What a finish this will be.

Overs 15: WI 138-3 What an over for West Indies as they get 18 runs from it. Russell launches a four and a six before Pandya gets the wicket of Simmons but it was a no-ball. The free-hit was then smashed for a six by Simmons. West Indies require 55 to win from five overs.

Overs 14: WI 120-3 Kohli is the man for India as he only goes for four runs in the over plus got the wicket of the dangerous Charles. West Indies need 73 to win from six overs.

Wicket - Kohli gets a wicket with his first delivery unbelievable. Charles is out caught by Sharma on the boundary for 52(36). India really needed that.

Overs 13: WI 116-2 Simmons is taking a liking to Jadeja hitting him for two lovely fours over the off side. Another good over for the West Indies as they get 12 runs from it. West Indies require 77 to win from seven overs.
Overs 12: WI 104-2 Pandya bowls a much better over for India as it only goes for seven runs. Charles hit a lovely four in the over to bring up his fifty. West Indies require 89 to win from eight overs.

Overs 11: WI 97-2 Simmons this time smashes Jadeja for a four and a six in the over. The West Indies batsmen take 13 runs from the over.

Overs 10: WI 84-2 Another good over comes for the West Indies as Charles hit another four and a six in the over. Two singles also come from the over.
Overs 9: WI 72-2 A massive over finally comes for the West Indies as Charles hits Ashwin for a six and a four in the over. 13 runs come from the over as well as the fifty partnership between the batsmen.
Overs 8: WI 59-2 Pandya started the over well only going for three runs from his first four deliveries. His fifth ball was pulled away by Charles for a boundary. Charles took a single of the last ball to keep the strike.

Overs 7: WI 51-2 Simmons hit a four of Ashwin's second delivery with a lovely cut shot. He tried the same shot again but was out caught but on review it was a no-ball from Ashwin. Seven runs came from the over.

Overs 6: WI 44-2 Simmons shows some aggression by hitting beautiful six down the ground of Jadeja. Five runs come from the other five balls in the over.

Overs 5: WI 33-2 Nehra bowls yet another fantastic over only going for five runs. Simmons got of the mark with a pull shot for a four.
Overs 4: WI 28-2 Charles started the over with back to back fours before the bowler pulled it back well only going for one single from his last four deliveries. The West Indies are well behind what is needed at this stage.
Overs 3: WI 19-2 A brilliant over from Nehra as he only goes for five runs plus got the wicket of Samuels. The first ball of the over saw Charles smash a four down the ground. The wicket was a beautiful delivery which deceived Samuels as he was through the shot far to early.

Wicket - Nehra gets in on the action now removing the dangerous Samuels for eight of seven balls. Very poor shot.
Overs 2: WI 14-1 What a start for Bumrah as he bowls a full inswinging delivery which clean bowls Gayle. Samuels came in and hit two fours in the over one with an edge to third man. Eventful start to the run chase.

Wicket - Bumrah gets the big wicket from his first ball bowling Gayle for five of six balls. What a start for India.

Overs 1: WI 6-0 Nehra starts the over well only going for one single from the first four balls of the over. Gayle though pulls the fifth ball away for a four. Gayle then takes a single to finish the over.

WEST INDIES 2ND INNINGS
India will be very happy to a put a score of over 190 on the board in a semi-final but it is a good wicket so the game is not over. Kohli was once again the star of the innings with his 89 but there were contributions from Rahane and Sharma as well to get them to the score. West Indies will need some fireworks to chase it down. Overs 18: IND 161-2 Kohli is at it again as he hits two fours in the over to take 11 runs from the over. Bravo didn't do much wrong in the over but he's going the distance.

Overs 16: IND 133-2 Russell bowls a brilliant over in the context of the game as he goes for six runs and got a wicket. Rahane knew he had to try and get a move on but was out caught on the boundary. Dhoni and Kohli will try and finish the innings well.

Wicket - Russell gets the second wicket of the innings. Rahane tried to go big for a six but was caught by Bravo on the boundary for 40(35).

Overs 15: IND 127-1 Kohli yet again finds a way to hit a boundary from the over of a good ball. The bowler bowled really well in that over and only conceded the seven runs from it.
Brathwaite replaces Bravo with the ball for the West Indies.
Overs 14: IND 120-1 Kohli has gone up a few gears as he hits the first ball away for a four. Brilliant running and placement from the batsmen mean they get 11 runs form the over again. A big score is on the cards here.
Overs 13: IND 109-1 Kohli gets a gift from Bravo with a full toss which he smashed away for a four. Good running again from the batsmen in the over as they get 11 runs from the over.

Overs 12: IND 98-1 The batsmen are once again content to just hit ball into the gaps and manage to get seven runs from the over without any risks.

Overs 11: IND 91-1 A much better over from the bowler as they only concedes five runs form it. The West Indies need more overs like that.
Brathwaite replaces Bravo with the ball for the West Indies.
Overs 10: IND 86-1 Rahane is starting to up the tempo now as he pulls Badree for a four in the over. The batsmen run well throughout the over to get ten runs from it.
Overs 9: IND 76-1 That over had everything as Kohli should have been run out on two separate occasions. Kohli also edged one for a four in the over. Ten runs come the over as well. Could that be costly for the West Indies?
Dwayne Bravo replaces Benn with the ball for the West Indies.
Overs 8: IND 66-1 Badree bowls a brilliant over for the West Indies as he only concedes four runs plus got a wicket. The wicket of Sharma was a beautiful delivery which trapped the batsmen in front of the stumps.
Virat Kohli comes in at number three for India.
Wicket - Badree gets the breakthrough and it's an important one as he traps Sharma LBW for 43(31).

Overs 7: IND 62-0 No risks from the batsmen in the over as they get seven runs from it without doing much. The pitch looks a belter to bat on.
Benn replaces Badree with the ball for the West Indies.
Overs 6: IND 55-0 Twenty runs come from the final over of the power play. Russell bowled a high full toss which Sharma smashed for six and it was a no-ball. Sharma then hit the free hit for a six before hitting another boundary at the end of the over.

Overs 5: IND 35-0 Rahane got his first boundary in the over with a streaky edge for a four. Good manipulation of the strike from the batsmen gets nine runs from the over without much fuss.

Overs 4: IND 26-0 Sharma has now found his touch as he hits back to back boundaries from Benn's first over. The crowd love it and are buzzing. 11 runs come from the fourth over.

Overs 3: IND 15-0 Sharma shows the first sign of aggression of the first ball of the over by smashing the bowler straight down the ground for a six. The bowler then bowls well to concede only three singles from the next five balls. Nine runs come from the third over.
Carlos Brathwaite replaces Russell with the ball for the West Indies.
Overs 2: IND 6-0 A good first over from Badree only goes for four runs. It could have been so much better though as he spun one past the edge of Sharma's bat but it just went over the stumps.
Samuel Badree will take the ball from the other end for the West Indies.
Overs 1: IND 2-0 A brilliant first over from Russell who only concedes two singles from it. Both Sharma and Rahane are of the mark. Great atmosphere already in the ground.

INDIA 1ST INNINGS
Both teams are out on the field to sing their national anthems. The winner of this game will face England in Kolkata in the final on Sunday. Stay tuned as we bring you the action in a few minutes.
India have made two changes for the game with Shikhar Dhawan and the injured Yuvraj Singh out with Ajinka Rahane and Manish Pandey in as their replacements. The West Indies have also made two changes with Chris Gayle and Lendl Simmons coming in to replace Evin Lewis and the injured Andre Flecther.

The key players for the game will see two of the most feared batsmen in the T20 game come up against each other in Gayle and the master of run-chases Virat Kohli. Gayle is a massive player for the West Indies at the top of the order and they will want to make sure he is fit for the game after missing the last game with an injury. Gayle has already smashed a hundred in Mumbai this tournament and he will be looking to do the same again when it matters for his team. Kohli for India is a superstar as he is one of the big reasons the team is in the semi-final. Kohli has hit two half-centuries this tournament against Pakistan and Australia in games that mattered the most to the team. Kohli averages 53.55 in T20's which is astonishing and he will be hoping to have his say in a big way in the semi-final.
So far in the tournament, there have been three matches played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai with 1,205 runs scored at an average of 201 runs per innings. The pitch has been a belter in these three games that have seen very high scoring games but it will be interesting to see if it will be the same for the semi-final match. The West Indies have played once at this venue already this tournament against England while this will be India's first game at the venue.
India and West Indies have played each other three times in the World T20 in the past with the West Indies leading 2-1. The first meeting took place in the 2009 tournament at the Super 8's stage when the West Indies won the game by seven wickets. The second meeting took place a year later in the 2010 tournament were the Windies won the game also this time by 14 runs. The last meeting between the sides then came in the last tournament in Bangladesh in 2014 where India came out on top by seven wickets in a group stage match. The sides though have never met in a knockout match so this will be an interesting match to see who will hold their nerve to get through to the final.
The hosts India, on the other hand, began their competition with a defeat to New Zealand by 47 runs to leave them on the back foot after the first game. In their second game, they came up against fierce rivals Pakistan in a game that means so much to both countries, and it was India who came out on top in a rain-affected game by six wickets. Bangladesh were the opponents in the third game and it was a game that produced so much drama with India winning the game from a losing position by one run to set up a winner takes all tie against Australia in their final match. In their final game then against the Aussies, India won the game by six wickets in a game that was emotional for everyone in India as they would now see their team play a semi-final at home.
The West Indies began the competition in a group with England, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Afghanistan and finished at the top with three wins from their four games. In their first game, they came up against England and started perfectly as they won the game by six wickets thanks to a Chris Gayle masterclass scoring 100 of 48 balls to give them the win. The second game saw them play defending champions Sri Lanka and they made it two wins from two winning the game by seven wickets. In their third game, they played South Africa knowing that a win would mean they would mean they would qualify for the semi-finals with one game to spare and they got over the line in a close game by three wickets. Their final game was against qualifiers Afghanistan where they fell to a surprise defeat by six runs but even with the loss, they finished top of the group as they had a better net run rate than England.
This match is the second semi-final and it sees two teams come face to face who love this form of the game. India came into the tournament as favourites while you just know the West Indies will turn up in the shortest format of the game. Both teams though didn't have it all their own way in the Super 10's as both lost one game each but in semi-finals form goes out the window and it's all about how you play on the day.
