Italian champions Juventus will be looking to secure their progress into the latter stages of the Champions League when they welcome Spanish champions Atletico Madrid to the Juventus Stadium this Tuesday night.

Massimiliano Allegri's side currently sit second in Group A after their comfortable 2-0 away to Malmo FF last match day. This put them  three points behind their opponents but only three ahead of their closest rivals Olympiakos, but with a significant goal difference over the Greek side has their qualification all but secured. It could prove a tough tie against Atletico Madrid who they lost 1-0 too in the reverse fixture earlier in the season, but they will know a sinificant goal swing in their favour will see them finish the group as the leaders.

Atletico Madrid  are well into their stride after a slow start with ten consecutive wins in all competitions including a 4-0 demolition of Olympiakos the last match day. Diego Simeone's side currently sit top of the group with 12 points and he will looking to end the group campaign on a high but against a Juventus side that have won all their competitive games at home this season it could be difficult.

Allegri will be without the trio of: Andrea Barzagli, Martin Caceres and Kwadwo Asamoah through injury and Simone Pepe is a doubt for the game. Striker Carlos Tevez should be recalled into the starting XI after starting the 0-0 draw with Fiorentina as a subtitute.

Simeone will only have Miranda and Cristian Ansaldi missing from the trip to Italy with Jose Gimenez expected to slot in alongside Diego Godin in the centre-back position. It also expected that Guillherme Siqueira will come in as left-back.
