The great rivalry between Arsenal and Manchester United is set to open another chapter this weekend. These two heavy weights come head to head on sunday in a game that is always filled with passion, skill, goals and controversy. Arsenal are coming off the back of two defeats to Fulham and Swansea, two games which a team like Arsenal should be winning. They have depended heavily on their main man Robin Van persie who has scored 18 goals this season making him the leagues top scorer. Manchester United started the season off in blistering form, threatening to dismantle all that stood before them. This form didn't last and they began to concede goals and loose matches leaving them with 3 losses this season. They too rely heavily on their star player Wayne Rooney who has netted them 13 goals so far this season. While both teams have showed flashes of brilliance-Manchester United at times playing some of their best football ever and Arsenal playing the nicest football to look, both sets of supporters will feel their teams haven't been at their best. Arsenal sit fifth in the league so anything but a win in this fixture would all but kill off their chances of a top three finish. While Arsene Wenger still holds loyal support from his fans, another season without silverware of any kind will surely test the patience of the most avid supporters to the man who has managed them since all the way in 1996. Sir Alex Ferguson is all too familiar that the season has twists and turns
